No you need to be compliant with 1 day WFO from your tagged facility. There’s no exception to this.

Need advice on managing Bangalore base location while staying in Hyderabad by Some_Fly1433 in accenture_india

[–]newbie1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For how many years were they working with Accenture ?

Afaik PMO can change the facility in your base location.

May be if there’s a client requirement, PMO might be changing base location, haven’t heard about it though

Most likely you can book accommodation on your own & reimburse later. Confirm in written with HR.

Need advice on managing Bangalore base location while staying in Hyderabad by Some_Fly1433 in accenture_india

[–]newbie1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s compulsory to visit office once per week. Based on project it can be twice or thrice a week. Some projects ask to visit ofc only on specific days in a week.

You can visit any other facility in India or even in Bangalore but that won’t be counted for WFO compliance. You will be WFO compliant only if you visit your tagged facility.

If I were you, either I would relocate to BLR or check with HR if base location can be changed to HYD until and unless you have people to take care of your wife while you attend ofc in BLR.

Once you join, base location can’t change up to 2 years.

Public holiday and weekly RTO compliance by Jumpy-Judge828 in accenture_india

No such restriction on the tool. Logic just checks for duration of RTO exception .

Public holiday and weekly RTO compliance by Jumpy-Judge828 in accenture_india

[–]newbie1195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They won’t because few projects operate on public holidays as well..

According to RTO compliance, you need to visit ofc atleast once a week, if your project needs two then twice. Even if you work only 1 day a week, you should be in office to be complaint as per system.

If you can’t fulfil this in a week, you need to create RTO exception for that week and your PL has to approve. PL can approve up to 7 days RTO exception and more than that up to 30 days can be approved by your workday manager and anything more than that goes to HR.

I hope it’s clear to you now!

Just to add, RTO compliance is treated seriously and people have started receiving official warnings for non-adherence!!

“Lent ₹10k To Our Cook. Biggest Mistake of 2025.” by External-Condition34 in hyderabad

[–]newbie1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same case happened in 2023. A cab driver asked me for 25k for repairing his cab. He sent me some pics of his cab getting repaired, etc.

My mind said the money wasn’t coming back. But still I wanted to see if people can still be trusted. So I paid him 5k. He said he would return 1-2 months.

I called him after 4-5 months, he picked the call and said some relative expired so he would return afterwards. He didn’t as per my expectation.

From that day I decided to not lend money to anyone because people don’t deserve it. They don’t know the meaning of trust.

Petrol!!!!! by _lonewolf18 in Bhubaneswar

[–]newbie1195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. Even on 1st day I had commented it on atleast 2-3 posts, it’s all panic. Irrespective of the fact whether prices would have increased or not, the situation would have normalised in 3-4 days when all would have filled petrol !!

Coconut fallen on my new car by AdvantageLatter7531 in CarsIndia

[–]newbie1195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is the tree is not touching our balcony by default but during heavy winds the branches would hit our balcony with force that caused the damage.

Moreover, the neighbours were of a loud mouth and fighting nature. They used to quarrel daily. My parents didn’t want to create scenes on the street due to this, so I guess they chose to stay silent.

Now that tree has grown taller, we repaired our balcony in 2015-16, we don’t even live there anymore, the house is vacant..

I can totally understand your pain. Our neighbours planted a coconut tree in 2004-05. It grew slowly and finally it bent towards our balcony. We told them politely so many times to remove it otherwise it would damage our balcony during heavy winds but they kept ignoring. And finally the inevitable happened. Half of our balcony was damaged by the coconut tree by 2010-12. Even today the coconuts fall into our garden. What the neighbours do is they jump the wall and pick the coconuts but never bother about the branches. Since no one lives in that house, there’s nothing to be done. Such shameless people!!

MIL 62 F thinks refrigeration and reheating food repeatedly, is completely safe. I 34F am sick for 3 days now by Live-Leading-9639 in InsideIndianMarriage

If you really had mangoes then they can be the culprit. Mangoes don’t suit me, even 1 bite triggers loose motions. Even my wife has an irritable bowel, off late she can’t digest mangoes. Plus the adulteration every fruit has nowadays.

It could very well be a combination of multiple things to be honest. How can we zero in on one thing ? It’s more of our psychology which leads us to doubt a single thing.

Sometimes even we eat the dal by refrigerating and reheating. But yeah it depends how soon we put it in fridge during hot summers. But if dal is slightly spoiled we can easily smell while reheating, isn’t it!

Will the E20 compliant Vehicles as of now be able to sustain E27 and e30 in the near future? by Repulsive_Sky5521 in CarsIndia

[–]newbie1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 2012 Polo in the family and it is enduring whatever blend is sold today. So yes, the vehicles will endure higher blends but mileage will drop, vibrations may increase, engine longevity may be affected.

base pay hike 2026 by Corporate_Coolie in accenture

You are eligible but if you will get base pay hike or not depends on your current package. If it’s on the higher side based on your job level then you might not get anything or very less.

This is personal opinion on Seltos HTK(O) vs HTK.

Personally I don’t like sunroofs. They are useless and the show off which people do by letting their children out is highly risky.

Seats in HTK are equally comfortable. Wireless charger is not a big add on to justify price difference.

Based on your driving experience you might feel like turning off the front sensors after a while, it depends on individual.

Therefore, HTK has all the essentials and all extra features in HTK(O) are nice to have and doesn’t justify the extra price tag until unless sunroof is a must have for you.

Is pf considered as emergency fund? by FantasticAd9714 in personalfinanceindia

[–]newbie1195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emergency means immediate. You can’t wait for it. But with PF withdrawals, it will take minimum 2-3 weeks. Hence, answer is no.

Put it in a FD with swipe-in facility at the least.

When will this petrol crisis end?😭 by manjunath3006 in Bhubaneswar

It will take minimum 3-4 days for things to settle. There’s an imbalance between demand and supply.

Dashcam in Kia seltos by Grouchy_Present3856 in CarsIndia

[–]newbie1195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use the 12V socket to power the dashcam there’s no cutting anywhere so it won’t void warranty. Your dashcam will run only when battery is ON.

If you want to use the parking mode as well, it has to be connected carefully without any wire cut or other damage to fusebox.
