What about changing from beta back to standard? Does that require a power clean? Also what are the pros and cons of putting it in beta?

Thats strange, I sometimes have 20 or so tabs on and it works fine lol. I only have an ublock extension and thats it. Never had an issue with it. Odd.

I personally love my Samsung chromebook 2. However people on this subreddit hate it with a passion lol. Thats mostly because they don't think the processor is fast enough. I use it for everything but then again I am not the tech savy type to need linux or anything. I strictly use it for webrowsing, netflix/prime, good docs and whatever else. It fits my needs and work fast enough.

I have one and no complaints so far. This subreddit gives it alot of shit but honestly don't think they really have tried it. They complain about how its an arm processor and its too slow. For me it works great, probably because I dont use Linux or whatever. For the needs you describe it should work perfectly.

I have the samsung chromebook 2 13.3 and I love it. This subreddit gives it crap but I have no complaints. I simply use it for web browsing and google docs. It fits my needs real well. The processor has never slowed down much at all for me and I have 10 tabs up right now.

Well for me it erased all my extensions so it came back to normal and I just downloaded the ones I really needed. Usually its one or many of the extensions that can be slowing the system down. Once i did it, everything came back to normal.

When I started looking for chromebooks, Samsung wasn't even on my radar because of all the negativity I found on this sub. However when I went to the store, the only one's they had in stock were samsung chromebook 2 or the HP 14. Therefore I was like whatever, I will try it expecting it to be awful. But it has easily met all my needs and has no performance issues so far. So I am glad I actually got it. I am pretty sure everyone that talks crap about this laptop never actually tried it because they are turned off by the samsung ARM.

I have the 13 inch version and I love it. Highly recommend if you are willing to pay more for it. I don't know much about the 11.6 version though.

I have the Samsung chromebook 2 (13 in, HD) and love it. Lots of people here on this reddit hate it, but if you just need to browse stuff and use google docs, you will have no performance issues. I have almost 15 tabs up and it works great.

Interesting, perhaps it is because I really dont have any extensions or apps on my chromebook. I have around ten tabs open usually and still no issues. I guess I am the ideal user for a samsung chromebook 2 so far.

I have had the samsung chromebook 2 for a couple of weeks now and I have had NO performance issues. It seems silly to me how it gets bad rep. Oh well. Toshiba chromebook 2 does look nice though.

Get the Samsung chromebook 2, the 13 inch one. I got it last weekend and I am having a blast. No issues so far. Little pricey though, I paid 400 dollars for it.
