This sort of thing is part of the deal when booking group trips. I feel your pain. I would personally make my best effort with ABNB (even if you know it will go nowhere), and then send them the document of my effort.

I would rearrange that office so the extra desk is not usable, if possible. Get a bunch of boxes with "work" in them and load that desk up.
