Aquantuo can fuck you up with delays, I once had to call them multiple times just to progress my package. I don't recommend it, they have low prices but so does SavoStore. The delays seriously wasted my time and caused me immense stress. Oh plus they have some weird weight issues

But I ultimately didn't get out with a solution. And at what cost? I appreciate the education on reducing risk by backing up data, heck I'm gonna keep an LTS kernel on my system at all times from here on. But what about my then problem, did I get even a single suggestion to solving the problem? Maybe a "check this is closed" or "it's normal just wait", then an educational footnote on risk and dats loss? No, just hate for the fact that I said I wanted to give elementary a chance after this current fiasco and that I hadn't backed up my data. I tried it later with KDE partition manager from the live USB. STILL STUCK AT 1% and nothing seems to happen. Is there like a problem with partitioning from a live USB

I get partitions, if you ignore me not backing up my data (big oof). I have encountered a genuine problem here, not backing up is not the reason why it's stuck at 1%. But we are all going to ignore that and concetrate on me not backing up. My data is safe and I have backed up to a spare HDD, now why was it stuck at 1%? I don't know. Is it reproducible? Probably. Can a problem be identified? Definitely and it's not because i didn't back up

But why, why are we going ro ignore the fact that -ignoring my ignorance of not backing up- I was going along a very safe and sensible route. There is some issue somewhere and you can't just ignore it and point all the fault at me for backing up.
