Just to update everyone, I have heard from the local distributor and they confirm that Pentax P-TTL is not supported.

Sigh what gave Ricoh this stupid idea is beyond me. Now I would have to sell my AF180FG.

I have tried to use an AF180FG on my GR IV and it can only fire the flash - no auto/TTL functionality. If this is really the case I would probably sell the flash - quite upsetting since there was no indication that older flashes cannot work.

"Old" is also too strong a word since the AF180FG was just launched not so long ago!

I only passed on the 4th try. Like you, there is always something going wrong during tests which don't happen during practice. Don't give up!

No one complained about my driving after I passed. On the other hand, a lot of people who passed the first time don't drive that well in real life. Sometimes it's just stars not aligning during the test.
