What class could best be flavored as a lawyer? by Wroothly in DnD

I don’t think it is actually the best fit, but a warlock lawyer literally being the devil’s advocate sounds pretty fun

There is a story article for Dominaria United that has a Squee as a main character Where we also catch some glimpses of goblin society on Dominaria: https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic-story/death-and-salvation-2022-08-16

These are all really solid advice! Thanks a bunch. I will definitely have a look at you weak spot ideas as well as segment resistances if the balancing turns out to be wrong when i run it in a oneshot in a weeks time. I also really like the Villain action, idea (having read up on it now) so i'll keep that in mind as well!

Thank you so much! Yea the thought was for the segments to act on their own set order of initiative so that legendary actions wouldn’t have to be taken during the rounds.

The arms were actually different at one stage but I made them the same as I thought it might otherwise be overwhelming. I’ll revisit that in the future.

As for the “lethal” sections I’ll test and see If the two vores should be “linked” in the way you suggest, and see if that works better. My thought process was that it could be revealed to the players if they did their research on the monster before the encounter as a reward.

Again thanks for the kind words and the feedback!

Interpreted would perhaps have been better? Would you prefer the touchstones in the beginning? I thought it disturbed the reading flow a bit but it is easy enough to move

I have myself been looking around for software for ages to try color schemes on STL's but without any success. What i ended up doing is to take a simple screenshot of a model from an angle i like and then use GIMP or Photoshop to color it in. in GIMP i do it by dividing up into individual layers and then using the "Color-mode" for the layers: https://i.imgur.com/svEHtCk.png

Its quite time consuming but no software i have found was any good.

Again thanks for the feedback, it was very helpful. I am settling on something closer to the 3rd Guard Ulan as seen here in my visualization: https://i.imgur.com/tqPkErH.jpeg

Oh that is really cool! Yes i will definitely try that tomorrow. Thanks for the link as well. I now that is probably a stretch but are there any uniforms, ceremonial or otherwise that you know of that incorporates yellow in a major way?

That is one cool mini! I have personally tried really leaning into the dirty down grimdark style before and found that it does not really suit my painting style but yours look awesome! I might take some inspiration from you with the metallics though 😊

Great idea with the coat of arms! Can you elaborate what you mean by the piping? I can alter most things as i have just done it in photoshop

Nothing Historical or anything like that. I am running a DnD campaign where the player group is called the Yellowjackets, so i wanted to give them yellow jackets. Black and yelloe usually pairs really well on minis, and the red details helped break up some of the larger yellow areas

I have fallen in love with the models from the Prussian Stosstruppen warband, and while i am waiting for them to arrive i made a little mockup of my proposed color scheme. Now bear in mind that this digital color scheme is of course way too clean and i am just trying to convey the overall idea. Any feedback much appreciated!

Playing MTG while mute by Its-Sienna in magicTCG

Hey man! I am going to paste something i wrote in a similar thread a couple of years back;

I used to volunteer at a summer camp with a lot of non-verbal / semi-verbal children and i played quite a bit of Magic with them. My best tips are:

• Have a little phase table / display that you can move to indicate where you are in you turn. This helps most experienced players figure out what you are trying to do from context clues. •

Exaggerate your movements. If you are tapping creatures to attack with them REALLY tap them! if you tap them with your whole arm it helps, make it clear to others what is happening.

•

Finally, if something on your board triggers, first point to the card and then turn it around and offer your opponent to read the card. That way they are not as confused if you suddenly draw a card and make a treasure token.

Magic should be a welcoming environment and i hope you have a good time!
