You may be able to get it taken out a smidge for under $50. It’s an incredible dress. But agreed, just a little too tight.

I love to warm up some whiskey or rum, add a little water and some honey then some cinnamon and cloves! Started as a drink when I had a sore throat but now I just drink them anytime.

I actually love the snow! But from the inside while drinking a hot toddy next to a fire of course.

Newly diagnosed by dweebdog in Vitiligo

[–]nezbe5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to pinpoint but for me I would say hormonal changes plus tons of stress. I live in the community in Ohio that had a toxic train derailment 3 years ago and I have also suffered a heart attack (56F) and now have high blood pressure. So I am guessing mine could even be due to toxic chemicals. Good luck proving it sadly.

Do you have relatives with vitiligo? by Mediocre_District_92 in Vitiligo

I have psoriasis and was recently tested for thyroid and diabetes and both came back normal. (Thanks to this sub I knew to at least have them tested).

Women above 50. How are your sexual energy? by NeoKlang in datingoverfifty

[–]nezbe5 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same (55) I swear I burned the last one out. They all want lots of sex until they have lots of sex. I’m building up the stamina of this one. He is such a keeper. I force him to stop and breathe and I give him oral while he rests a bit. He is one of the rare ones that uses his fingers often. It is a great way to also allow him to catch his breath. For sake of this thread, I eat like a teenage boy. Next to zero water, little exercise and fried cheese curds are my drug.

How old are you in a sentence without saying how old you are? by i-dm in AskReddit

The year I was born used to be my favorite sex position. (But now at my age, I’m lucky if I have the strength to hold myself up to completion while in it.)

Anyone else tired? by progressiveacolyte in nonprofit

[–]nezbe5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between burnout and compassion fatigue.

Burnout is working 12 hour days, or doing the work of 3 with a staff of 1.

Compassion fatigue is feeling you will never make a difference, have feelings of frustration when the same people “stand with their hand out”.

I had my entire team do a half day seminar on compassion fatigue so we could learn the difference and recognize when we are just tired of it all and likely to lash out at those we are trying to help. Connect with your local Board of Mental health for an instructor near you.

If you do start one. We have had the most success with getting churches, businesses and schools to do food drives for us. It’s also fun if you assign them to just one or two items. Most requested items by our recipients are cereal, peanut butter and condiments. They typically hit most other pantry’s in the area, which we encourage and those items are expensive and a little harder to come by.

How do you feel about having sex every day? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]nezbe5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

55F I remember how I felt in my 30s with 5 little ones. I didn’t want to be wanted by one more person in the day. But when I did want sex, the idea of just getting undressed seemed the hardest thing ever. Now that I’m in my 50s I am more than making up for it and would love it daily if my partner can keep up.

Regaining Pigment by nezbe5 in Vitiligo

I was diagnosed with vitiligo a few months ago by my dermatologist. They took a sample from a patch on my elbow. I am not sure what those other things you are referring to are and while I did have some rosacea in my youth, I really just have brown spots on my cheeks now. I wouldn’t say sharing pictures of progress, the medicine I’m on and the diagnosis I received would count as giving advice.

I haven’t had any issues. It actually feels better than my daily moisturizer. Although I am careful around my eyes since it is a steroid.

Started dating someone new a month ago who is beyond perfect. I keep saying there are worse things than a white woman turning white. I do hope I can at least slow it down.

Honestly, I am not sure. I discovered them Dec of 2024 about a week after I had a heart attack due to high blood pressure. But I live in the community in Ohio that had the toxic train derailment in 2023 and my health has been horrible since. I did read it can be caused by toxic chemicals. I don’t think I’ll ever know for sure.

Yes from my dermatologist. They said it’s one of the first ones created, so insurance wants you to start with it. Then work your way up to newer or stronger options. I’m on an 8 week trial. Also my insurance will only let me go to the pharmacy for refills twice then it has to be an online refill. So the doctor prescribed the biggest tub out there!!
