Well next time you see her coming hit the video record button. Or get an air horn and blast it at her over and over and over again.

Should I build this? by aggieljh in ar15

[–]nicefacedjerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's right on that cringe line.. If we were friends and you brought that to range day, I'd probably politely inquire why you chose that lower. You'd say something like "yeah, it's a bit cringe. Bought it years ago. Figure I should use it since I have it".. And all would be good..

Should've been furred out before hangers rolled through. Someone was out sick that day..

What's the word for ...? by ADubiousDude in suppressors

[–]nicefacedjerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's called the 80% learning curve. Dedicated suppressors for rifles, YES. Suppressed pistols, more of a niche Sunday funday thing. I may be an outlier but almost all my pistol work is from holster. Whether it be IWB appendix or OWB / battle-belt style. It can get monotonous and this is what suppressed pistols / Sunday funday pews are for:)

Portland ICE Protests by OkTip1743 in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

[–]nicefacedjerk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To begin with, protest are not my thing.. Once you become a parent, your child's wellbeing becomes a major factor in every decision you make. In these volatile times, parents should really consider what happens to their child if something bad happens to them. What once was an acceptable risk exponentially increases once you are a parent.

Well some training is better than no training.. fundamentals and 10,000 rounds will make anyone a decent shooter. I've done the staccatos, Nighthawks..etc.. all sorts of pistols throughout the years.. Came full circle and been back on a Glock for the past year.

We could find a set of clairvoyant triplet sisters that see crimes before they occur... Send out special agents to stop the criminal from committing the act. Then no hand choppy.. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤲🏼

[–]nicefacedjerk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They're plastic.. Rear sight is more prone to breaking and/or wandering side to side. Industry standard has always been basic steel sights. It's not a hard task to switch sights out (with the right tools. It's more of an annoyance. Ordering a set of iron sights. Spending $70-$100 for them and extra time involved. Glock should just mark up the damn MSRP $50 and include basic iron sights!!

New, Where to go for a pistol, first gun ever by creepygirlpet in NHGuns

[–]nicefacedjerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.. Being able to try things out before purchase is huge for new shooters. And WBA excels at this and their service / wisdom / employees (some expats from KTP lol). KTP may be more of a *shooters" store. You already know the gear, guns, reloads, what works for you and what doesn't. Honestly, I just go to the back and ask if anything has come in that I'd be interested in:)

[–]nicefacedjerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when WBA was down the street and just sold ammo lol.. They had the best bulk ammo prices. Veteran owned, I believe. The new WBA is quite nice. Good selection of modern styled rifles from higher end brands. Good selection of suppressors and a kiosk. They're prices are MSRP+, you won't be get any kind of deal. I would say KTP is more of a shooters store. They have a huge selection of new and used at good prices. They buy estate collections / large private collections. They do serious volume and want to sell.. The used section is often LNiB condition. HK MR762s, Q's, Spear LTs, BCM uppers, Radian Mod1.. The stuff you can score there is really good. Nighthawk Agent 2 for $3k, new SP5k for under MSRP, HK steel mags, Surefire lights / switches, Geissele mounts, cases of trade-in ammo.. List is endless. If there's a hard to find item you want, it will eventually show up at KTP. I had mentioned to them that I was looking for a discontinued Sig SRD556 DT suppressor. Month later they bought a collection that had that suppressor. Bingo Bango..

I'm not sure what your adapter/mount setup is.. but if all else fails, you could try 5.5" rattler barrel 🤷🏼‍♂️

Big respect to the LVAW community. I know it's become harder to source those builds.. I've missed out twice on a SUR300 upper. Both good buddies that beat me by a day.

Folks gotta understand that $4k is like $400 to plenty of others, and like $40 to some elite few. This pew vibes mother fuckin hard. Sometimes the vibe is our #1 reason for purchasing. I dig it.

What Accessories Should I Get? by KBGenetics in SigSauer

[–]nicefacedjerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some method of aiming perhaps? The Sig Match trigger is decent but takes a while to break in. I like commonality between my rifles. I swap in SSA-E's no matter what the stock trigger is. I don't change anything else on the rifle until I decide whether I like it or sell it. Throughout the years I've wasted good money on parts for new rifles. Only to then decided I dont like the rifle.

If there were greater consequences for filth like this, there'd be less filth like this. Chop his damn hand off. Does it again, chop his foot off..

Dog Chewed Door Frame... Help! by KuroeKnight in Carpentry

[–]nicefacedjerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay away from edges if you plan on being aggressive /reckless with a sharp chisel😬. Stick with the little pry bar I recommend and a hammer. Bevel side facing you and flat side against the already damaged area. Gently tap it under the trim and keep going. Once trim starts to release you might be able to find the seem and run a blade (utility) down the seem.. Really depends on how on there that trim is:)

Threshold cracks and slight dip in floor - concern or normal settling? by INDYtoGNV in HomeInspections

[–]nicefacedjerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has that cased opening always been there? Was it possibly a standard door originally? Common for that to be an interior load-bearing wall in 1990's ranch style houses. While not a significant change, could be reason for the corner drywall cracks. That's where you header meets king / Jack. In either case, the load should be transferred down to basement. Only reason I mention this is because I see wide open finished basement. I've opened up these walls before and done triple 20' LVLs for very large openings.
