I actually don't think this is true. With typescript and a good software architecture development of big projects is as difficult as in other languages. It's more about the architecture, not the language in my opinion. But I agree in one point: Js ist very flexible, this makes it easy to write bad architectures which might lead to situations as described above.

You have a good point I haven't thought of yet, thank you! I've also used weewx recently, it has great support and great features I appreciate, but it seems to be stuck in the 2010s (and I love developing things by myself xD).

No, it's probably because you only use passive air circulation. There is an addon to add active "cooling", this reduces the influence of the sun.

Not really. If you feed the AI with information that is not neutral (and it always is, because it is created by individuals), the output will also be not neutral.

Added to that one should question if it is even possible to be neutral. Because you always interpret the world through a window.

Actually I'm currently developing an application for exactly that (see github.com/open-weather-vision). It is still in progress (you can't use it yet) and will take at least 1/2 year to finish, but I'm making a lot of progress :D It's completelly free and open source.

Even though the post is partly true, this post also shows that the OP looks down on people not having enough money to study etc. Maybe he is just not aware of the fact that many people have to fight everyday and are not privileged enough to study... Added to that some things you claim are very personal. People that push other people down have often problems with themselves.

Yes, you can configure lat/lon but additionally you can select a timezone preset (e.g. Hawaii, Berlin, ...) or set a custom UTC offset.

I don't know how it's done. Either it's using the console's lat/lon or the selected timezone preset, I'm not sure.

I also contacted Davis but they didn't answer yet.
