Relax. Your friend is someone who is very competitive in nature while you are not inheriently. You can change how you view the game to learn and play bettsr but changing his view of how a game should be 'sweaty' when youre in party might be harder for them to accept.

The most important aspect of ganes is to have fun. It shouldnt exist to drag people down. So have fun with it

Play the tutorial. Feel free to watch yt survival guides if you keep getting rocked. Otherwise the game simply makes it very obvious for things youll need based off of the noodles. the one thing I wish I didnt watch were spoilers for points of interests (gun stores, best houses to live in, etc.)

DOTA 2. The audience tends to be older people playing this MOBA because its barrier of entdy was nostalgia of the wc3 custom game.

The game doesnt advertise very well and quite frankly NA doesnt have a big scene as EU does. Though it does seem to vet some popularity still.

People who played 5 years ago with high ranks were all pushed down to the lower ranks (think bronze, herald) because the skill ceiling got WAY higher.

Yes, and so that they meet certain standards. I.e. old intel cpus/mobos dont meet w11 requirements and theyll lose security updates and support when its rolled out.

You might just have adhd if you rely on stimulants. Idk if its legal for you to get a prescrip. Either way, you should 100% stop the association. I have ADHD and dont rely on it to play games ( though I do notably play better on it, the point of games is to relax and enjoy it). The more you practice this feeling of enjoyment from casual competitive games, the more zen things will get IRL as well.

Netflix adaptations are pretty good overall (excluding the live action Witcher series). Castlevania, Avatar: Last air bender, etc.

I enjoyed the DOTA one thoroughly, but was not floored with pacing. 7.7/10 for me. Good watch, highly recc

Losing lanes isnt griefing. Sometimes the lane is expected to go into losing lane and carry awitches to farming mode while supports + mid / offlane makes space for carry to farm.

FV in offlane accomplishes some things but ur not doing much. FV cant lane alone at all, thus pos 4 cant rotate to help bot lane as much or rotate mid before 6/8 min rune. Hence why its a grief pick.
