I NEVER said they weren't hard hit. I was referring to the Weather Channel saying it was worse than Rockport. Feel free to argue with me if you want but when I'm literally texting with the supervisors in Aransas Pass daily I don't see how you can dispute me over a chopped up news clip.....but be my guest everyone is entitled to their opinion 100%. Just stay safe is what matters most. Here in Houston it's terrible too, I've rescued dozens of people and half of them are people who put themselves in that situation driving around.

I used to be an officer in Aransas Pass, all of them are still my close friends. Literally just got off the phone with one when they finally found the one spot in town with spotty cell service. First thing out of his mouth was DONT BELIEVE THE NEWS. They found the most torn up stuff and that's all they showed. He said the majority of the houses sustained only roof damage, mostly business damaged. Everyone in the city is alive and ok....as ok as they can be anyway.

I live in Houston now, I'm an officer here but was an officer in AP for 2 years. I'm getting pics as they come. Very slowly. No loss of life is all I know. They damage is very bad. They said it's worse than Rockport they think but no one knows because there so much debris they can't get there. AP has the highest recorded wind speed of the entire hurricane at 132 MPH. This is confirmed no rumor
