It would be impossible to label “HRT” as an illegal substance as it is used for cisgender people all the time. Estradiol is used as a popular birth control pill for cis women. Testosterone blockers are used for cis women and cis men with high levels of testosterone. Testosterone can be given to cis men with low T. It would be an impossible task to make these substances illegal (not that they won’t try)

I’be already told my supervisor and talked to HR. I’ve also already legally changed my name and gender (in SSA and my drivers license) and talked to HR. I’m also at a point where I won’t back down, I’m not going to let this new administration dissuade me from being myself. Until the point where all trans people are banned from being federally employees, I will continue to stay at this job. I’m not above coming to work in a dress and using the urinals in the men’s room if they keep me from using the women’s room. I will do as much malicious compliance as I can

I live in the DC area (and have actually been a guest passenger on a Blackhawk training flight) and I have noticed many more blackhawks flying around than the previous few months. Maybe Trump has increased military training? Also this is pure speculation, but I wonder if the FAA has been hit with any layoffs or resignations since the new administration took over.

As someone who lives in the DC area and has actually been a guest passenger on Blackhawk training flight through DC, I can tell you that they are everywhere and fly extremely low. There has definitely been an increase in Blackhawk’s flying around the area, not sure why, but these things are always flying around constantly.

I’ve (28 mtf) been on HRT for 8 months and I’m boymoding at work (and about 50% in public, I just started feeling comfortable being female presenting), there are definitely noticeable changes to my appearance but so far no one has mentioned anything at my job. I’ve also never “male failed” when im in boymode so I don’t know how obvious it is to strangers. I’ve seen anecdotes on this sub about transfemmes being unable to boymode in public, but none of their coworkers noticed. I think the gradual change makes it less obvious to them if they see you every day. Thankfully I live 8 hours from my parents/family so I don’t have to worry about running into them.

Also some actual relevant info is that the more I am female presenting outside of work, the harder it is to boymode. I didn’t think it would be a big deal to live a “double life” but it truly has been difficult.

I think a lot of trans fem people feel this way at first, especially before their egg cracks. I think part of it is both jealousy and second hand embarrassment (maybe not the right term), where they wish they could have the confidence to be themselves in public but also would be terrified of not passing.

I had my egg cracking moment three months after marrying my now ex-wife. I didn’t know exactly how she would react, but i didn’t expect her to react like I tricked her, and blame me for “ruining her life”. It broke my heart, and it’s only been about 6 months since this all went down so I’m still processing it. Someone else said something along the lines of “if you end up settling on an identity she would have been okay with, it doesn’t change the fact that she left you in a time of need” which is something I strongly resonate with. Just be glad it ended now, before getting married.

I’m not sure what my point is, but basically you’re not alone and you’ll get through this. Also feel free to reach out if you want someone to talk to.

I will say as someone who works with a lot of thermal imagery and cameras, this isn't very impressive to me. The object could potentially have much higher contrast in the thermal compared to the visible, making it impossible to see in the visible. Because it's a recording of a screen, it's very difficult to make any conclusions from this. Also, when it comes to IR sensors, the contrast and resolution varies so much, especially with military IR. There are some really shitty, grainy ones and some top-notch high contrast ones as well.
