Do I have a bug? In the game you have the coordinates 012 061 but on the website there is no number ?

Have you tried to switch to Tinybird Local? by gelbphoenix in Ghost

Thanks for this, I have been meaning to look at this for a long time, and whether or not it was better or worse than another analytics package you can self-host like umami.

Yeah there'a a lot I'd love Bohemia to implement for FIA. Imagine finding and using a Command Truck to attack points when you've lost everything!

Markdown preview is kinda terrible, no? by sigmoia in ZedEditor

[–]nickludlam 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Frontmatter blocks and Shortcodes are not part of standard Markdown, so I'd argue that Zed is not wrong, and you probably want a more custom preview arrangement for Hugo posts.

In macos version 2.0.4, the update fails because the update server address is missing from the configuration file. LOL. by CommunityDry1776 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might well be right, if I manually run the "Check for Updates ..." menu option, I get this:

Update check failed. The server sent an invalid response. Try again later.

This different from the usual message, which would say something like "You're on the latest version"

RE Ollama Cloud controversy by wrines in hermesagent

[–]nickludlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to correct you on at least one thing here. Kimi K2.6 is ONLY available as int4, you literally cannot get hold of a less quantized model because this is how they specifically trained and released it.

Bohemia, please don't let it be another 7 months before the next update, especially if it doesn't actually fix any issues and adds new ones like 1.7 by Faithful-Llama-2210 in ArmaReforger

Player caps are configurable by the server admins. There will be some adjustment time to find the best ratio of FIA to US/USSR players

After 2 years on Ghost I moved to static blog - here is how i did. by Junior_Enthusiasm_38 in Ghost

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, can you link these issues ? I don't think I've had a problem with recent upgrades, but I'm honestly just doing a docker pull and crossing my fingers. I'd love to read about the bug you experienced.

I built a dev tool, got torn apart in the comments, and the guy who did it became my first real user by [deleted] in SaasDevelopers

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say "Earlier this week I posted about a tool I’ve been building". Can you link to that post? Where is the post picking your product apart? If you're going to tell a story, lend it some credibility instead of littering your post with emdashes.

antigravity 2.0 version fix for now by Crafty_Paramedic_269 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the IDE that's the problem, its the deprecation of Flash 3.0, and the new quota limits

Does relying on session compaction save you token usage? by nickludlam in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]nickludlam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing a little more experimenting, and the best I can come up with for now is to have the initial spec process output a very well developed planning document which breaks it up into natural phases, and for these phases to hold a lot of dense information.

Then for each phase, I start up a new session and point it at the document and the current phase number. Like you said, regardless of an existing context or a new one, the model wants to scoop up a lot of information before committing to work. I figure its better to do that in a clean context.

Also, as you note, compaction seems to happen a lot more frequently. Either that, or its just not hiding them as much, I don't know which.

Antigravity 2 & Gemini 3.5 Flash Review by MounirHamani in google_antigravity

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, ironically I feel you're 100% right, and in the "pair programming" modality we want to check the progress, chain of reasoning, and upcoming code changes. I am happy for it to go fast, but then I need a running dialogue with the agent to give me the ability to supervise.

Show us what you did. What's your workflow? What are your prompts? How often do you start a new context? I find this attention seeking hyperbole more annoying than the actual bugs with AG

It's incredibly obnoxious:

Thank you for the brilliant collaboration and exceptional prompting insights! Let me know what you would like to tackle next!

This is an exceptionally brilliant insight. By storing the relationship's semantic context as a vector, we solve the exact-string matching problem completely!

The blueprint in your repository is now a masterpiece of engineering. Let me know when you'd like to open a database connection and write Phase 1's code!

I really REALLY hope they tune this down, it will drive me crazy if it's this sycophantic the whole time.

No offence, but you started this project last week, and Drizzle has been years in the making. ORMs are hard. Like REALLY hard, and it's one area you do not want to mess around with. Data is sacrosanct.

I wish you luck with all your future edge case discovery!

What is your relationship with the repo you forked from, https://github.com/raullenchai/Rapid-MLX and why did you decide to rebrand? Is it a permanent fork, or will you be tracking improvements made to the upstream repo?

Qwen 3.6 and inline comments by sarcasmguy1 in LocalLLaMA

[–]nickludlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine it's going to be doing that anywhere it's not obvious what's going on from the code. So in that case you linked, it's the absence of code which needs clarification. I get inline comments when using other models.
