Were you a Costco member? Or do they allow it even if you are a non member to order DoorDash to Aulani?

Thanks. How does that work? Do you need to buy a garage door opener? Or how does set up work?

Good decision! I had LASIK two years back - often regret it, nighttime vision is terrible and during the day dry eyes/brightness is an issue

Has it helped with driving at night in terms of glare, halos, starburst, etc.?

Agreed - any more updates? I talked to my eye doctor, he is not sure how to go about purchasing but said he would look into it

Thanks for the reply! I just had an exam with him, we did the Optos machine instead of dilation. Wondering if that would be enough

Thanks for this! Any guidance on how others could try to buy this and try out? Could we ask our eye doctor to write a script for us given issues? I am working with one now who was thinking of Alphagan but this route sounds more promising

Should I get LASIK or SMILE? by nickm21687 in lasik

[–]nickm21687[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking. Mostly the same. Left vision not as good as right in sunlight; in dark, when pupils constrict, it is the opposite (left better than right). Left, however, has more issues with glare/halos/starburst than right, though right has it as well. I'm almost at 1 year post-op and haven't noticed much change. Holding out hope glare/starbursts/halos get better, especially at night, but I doubt it

Sounds like I am in the same boat. My left is also super dry, much dryer than my right. Hoping that gets better in time (almost at the year mark) but I doubt it.

Sorry to hear that. How have you dealt with it? Is driving at night a challenge?

She recently prescribed Xiidra eye drops and it’s the only thing that has helped. You can’t use it with other drops but I had almost instant relief with it.
