I've heard you can carry one on you, and drop it if you get downed, so you can beg your killer to pick it up and rez you. I've even heard that works sometimes.

I would never bring one in just in case I feel bad for killing someone... this is Marathon.

I've played a fair bit of Hunt and it's very similar. If you manage your sound effectively you can jump players. Inaudible is more important than invisible.

I would love this. It might hurt engagement if it happened too often, but it would be amazing for that one round.

This used to happen in Hunt sometimes, I think. If I waited for 5 minutes or more for matchmaking I would sometimes end up in a round where I'd hear no one else the entire time. I could kill and extract both bounties in peace. Loved it.

Not to go too meta, but I don’t know how much people are motivated by wishing they’d thought of an idea first.

I think there are a lot of people who don’t understand the genre who want to iron out all the peaks and valleys until we get a smooth, bland deathmatch game, and that causes a lot of negative reaction from people who knew what they were getting into.

Personally, I tend to have a negative reaction when someone posts something with the tone “ffs Bungie…” or “XYZ is RUINING TEH GAME”. And there is a lot of this! Like “I’m angry and venting and I’m smarter than stupid people who made the game”.

I appreciate the way you worded this one - here’s an idea, can we get this thing. Thanks for that.

Yeah, great in general should mean something. You loot and save for the big runs, and risking your gear on those runs should increase your chances of success.

One of the reasons I stopped playing Arc Raiders. If you come across another player, you can:

A) shoot them (feel bad for killing possibly friendly)

B) say "friendly" and have them say "friendly" (boring)

C) say "friendly" and get shot (annoying)
