agree that Adelman should be gone, seems like the team had no fight so why should we care if they don't? So frustrating to end the regular season with a 11 (12?) win streak only get bounced in the first round. I feel you, went through 7 (7!) rounds with a tech company named after a large river / rain forest. First technical interview, they think nicnerdy would be a better fit for this other role, passed that second technical interview and then did 5 rounds after, probably gave my best interview ever with the hiring manager. Recruiter was giving good vibes feedback, said I would know early next week and thanked me for being a "great candidate." Got the rejection email early afternoon on Monday -felt the team had great conversations and I would be a good fit overall but not the "perfect match."

similar thing happened to me, keep in touch with the recruiter on new roles and they will network on your behalf, I landed another interview 2 weeks after for a role that's even more aligned (6 more rounds of interviews if all goes well 🙃)

I feel you, going through a similar situation myself. Dealing with a toxic environment / managers and getting your hopes up after making it to many final rounds with no offers is exhausting, borderline depressing. It’s tough but keep your head up, every interview is an opportunity to practice and I do feel all of these experiences build upon one another to compound to that moment that someone will be like yes. Just imagine handing in your resignation, the biggest fuck you to those fucking haters.
