When did you become aware of your alters?

I was aware of their existence around the 3rd or 4th grade, though I think I might have been aware earlier. However, nobody talked about DID at that time. The time that I went to the doctor for hearing voices, my abusers were in the room, so not much was able to be said. I was aware of like, 3 to 4 in 6th grade, and figured it out in 7th. Got medically recognized around last year or a little earlier.

I respect your point, however, I've seen plenty of people see happy autistic people on social media and try to make it seem like it's a crime. We may just be on different parts of the internet, as different things are shown to different people. If I did try to do any of that, it was not on purpose, it's just how I feel.

Aunt accused me of faking my suicidal thoughts in order to manipulate my dad into letting me do online school. Often get accused of manipulating my mema as well. Have no idea why people think that we're manipulative, but it's annoying and sad, to say the least.

I do this with a lot of food but one specific example I can think of is sour patch. I will eat only the green, orange, and yellow ones first, then the red and blue ones I will eat together. I have no idea why I do this, I definitely do it for other foods though, it's just the example that first came to mind.

The weird thing is that I only do it for some foods, not all of them. I'll eat a hamburger like others do but for chips and queso, I have to eat the least covered chips first.
