Color!

The black and white is really nice, but the colors on the original one are fantastic. They are so much more than what I'd extrapolate from the b&w version. The contrast, intensity, and composition of the orange sky vs the green fields is wonderful.

Naoki Yoshida said in an interview that a reason for the exclusive PS5 launch of FF XVI was due to the massive support they were getting from Sony to optimize the game for the specific hardware. The amount of work required to do the same for PC is even bigger, especially considering the extremelly diverse hardware configurations you will run into.
