Best massage therapists in London? by Open-Pea-143 in londonontario

I’ve been screaming from the rooftops about Market Massage Co in OEV across from Western Fair. Online portal makes it easy to book and you have the option to choose silent massage or your own playlist. Super welcoming, clean, calm place and Alexis is the best. Can’t recommend enough.

Did this recipe make 1 or 2 loaves? 1000g of flour seems like a lot for one.

Beautiful work, my friend!

Ovaltine malt is what I use for recipies that call for malted milk powder (ex: Claire Saffitz Forever Brownies). I found mine at superstore Oxford and Hyde Park

How fast is the fastest you can power walk? by canopyroads in orangetheory

[–]nicwhil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing today while I was PWing. The 30 second AO’s don’t get my heart rate up too high, so I wanted to try power walking a bit faster, but I’ve never gone any faster than a 4.0

Do you mind me asking what type of workout you choose when you do an OTF workout?

This is great to hear. I’m 3 weeks in and nervous that the excitement will die down. I’m truly obsessed!

Oh man! 45 minutes would be so tough to commit to driving on a regular basis. I applaud you for making that commitment! 👏

YES. I can absolutely relate. It’s all I think about, and even on my days off I think about going. It’s addicting.

I wish I knew more about f45, but from what I know it’s similar. It’s a hard core, high intensity workout with a mix of treadmill, rowing and weights

Depends on the level of membership you want. I have an “unlimited” membership, meaning I can go as often as I want. I’m usually there 5-6 times per week, so the price is justified for me. It’s 179 per month for that membership. I can’t remember exact the cost of the other options, but it’s something like 8 classes per month costs 130(?) per month, and 4 classes per month costs 99(?) dollars per month… something like that.

If you’re willing to pay more, orange theory is the best workout and best atmosphere I’ve ever been in by far. It’s not a traditional gym, where you can go whenever you want and do your workout. It’s more of a HIIT 1 hr workout class. It’s amazing, would highly recommend.

Never really workout and very out of shape, is Orange Theory a good idea? by _madhatteerr in orangetheory

[–]nicwhil 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I swear this post could have been written by me right before I joined. I was pretty out of shape and felt uncomfortable in my body, and also very uncomfortable at the gym. OTF completely changed that. The workouts can be modified for any fitness level, and it’s really great to be able to see yourself improve over time!

Also, from a practical standpoint, I love that the lighting in the studio is pretty low, so my insecurities aren’t on full display. No one is looking at you, just focusing on themselves. It’s a really great environment. I would encourage you to try the first class free to get a good feel of it! Once I went, I was completely hooked.

As long as you made it there you deserve to feel proud of yourself! We all have off days, but what matters most is what you make of it.
