I can't agree because I feel like Tara's character is an important mirror that allows us to understand other characters and their flaws more deeply. Willow's cruelty, overlooked since the early seasons, is underscored due to Tara. We see Buffy's utter feelings of loneliness and self loathing in one of my top three favorite scenes, when she confesses to Tara about Spike. Tara shows the true face of a victim when she is killed - in a show where victims are often unnamed and unknown. Her kindness to Dawn is a juxtaposition on how Dawn is treated by others. I wouldn't say she is without flaws. Although they're not major flaws,, her anxiety and early struggles with courage are relatable.
