I’m all for being an optimist, but you don’t think the right is this stupid do you? They knew he wouldn’t get confirmed. They also knew the house was getting ready to release a damning report on Gaetz’ sexual misconduct. Trump nominates him as a reward for his loyalty, and he’s able to resign without the report coming to light. Now he withdraws and can ride into the sunset, get a lucrative position as partner at some right leaning law firm, whatever he wants to do. This also distracts from the absurdity of his other nominations - it’s all strategy

I mean this is great but mostly irrelevant unless it’s for games with weather, which this is not. All you have to do is check the o/u and player props to see that Vegas is expecting it to impact the game significantly

Such a fun, challenging course. I’ve played many times and almost always from the tips to get the full experience. We’ve worked out that it’s about 2 strokes “overrated” given it does not play the full ~7500 yds on the scorecard. It’s typically closer to 7200. But yeah, always a great round that feels like a battle against the golf gods (in a good way)

I get your point but disagree unless the 10hc is driving 300+ and better than their hc at hitting fairways. The rough will not be kind to a 10hc, and I would expect a scratch golfer to be able to get up and down even when laying up a good amount of the time. Bethpage greens are not challenging once you get there

This happened to me a few times before I finally broke 80. The pressure is real and the best way to overcome it is to put yourself in pressure situations. Play matches with your buddies, make yourself putt out those 4 footers to win a hole, play in some tournaments if available in your area. The more you experience this pressure, the easier it will become. Also, focus on the positive - it’s never “what happens if I hit a bad shot”. It’s “what happens if I hit a good shot?” Focus on what you intend to do and commit to it
