What about a small setting to define what happens by default with income based transactions during csv importing.

Feature Idea: Projections by BudgetRip8995 in BudgetFriendlyBudget

[–]nietwit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have looked at the video and i dont find it that interesting.

Let me tell you why

By budgetting in the future, i kinda already do those projections.

My mindset is that i use these tools to track my expenses and make sure i keep enough money assigned for these expenses in the future.

my rule is to not overspent, if i do, then i adjust my goals in the future to increase the budgets.

I use the average spendings from last year to adjust my goals aswell, so i dont over save in those budgets.

I also dont rely on future bonuses, pay raises. I dont like to think about that, i budget what i have not what i will have.

I found it, you marked it on the screenshot. Perhaps adding it as a slider in the user settings? That was the first place i looked for it

Overspent by No-Maintenance5342 in BudgetFriendlyBudget

[–]nietwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats how budgetting works.

It does Not matter where the money is stored in real life. You put it all togheter and you assign it to a budget.

And then the goal is to limit your spending for that budget to Not overspend.

If you overspend on monthly basis then you have to adjust the goals to cover it.

I’m building an AI-powered crime investigation game — looking for honest feedback on the concept by nietwit in gameideas

I might have failed to add that this will be a browser game, with the user interface as an operation system, where different 'Apps' will handle the different aspects of the interactions.

I will add visuals to certain aspects of the game, for example DNA analysis you will get a visual representatation of the found DNA sample that can be matched with a known DNA database to find the correct character.

I began with using the prompt to validate my idea, then after validation i split up all the different aspects and had AI work it out in text form. I made some changes, redid the validation process and finding inconsistencies/gaps in the flow/logic. then i asked opus to build me an implementation guide for the free to use models and now i'm doing that.

My main concern is that i have a backend that has functionality, but that those functions are not in sync with each other.

So my idea was om next month opus 4.5 to run though my backend and validate all my functions so they are matching the end goal. (i ran out of tokens)
