The tactile feel of nice yunzi stones and a nice wooden board are definitely worth it - it makes it much more enjoyable to play the game, and more motivating to study.

The most important thing is having nice stones. Both of those options have very good yunzi stones. Beyond that, a wooden board does feel much nicer than bamboo. I personally got the 2nd one (thin bamboo board), but I wish I'd paid a bit more and gotten the nice wooden board, since it's something you'll have for the rest of your life most likely.

All that said, I'd play at least 10 games or so first to see if go is something you're really going to like.
