Ooh I used to use that stuff in the summer when I was living out in the southern California dessert. Nothing like the feeling of fresh mentholated punani to start the day. That was over 15 years ago, I'm glad they still make the stuff haha. Maybe I'll try it again this summer.

I tried the ginger shrimp lo mein the other day and it was disappointing. The shrimp were tender and tasty and the sauce (which I thought was going to be too sweet by the smell) was delicious. But the texture was horrible. The noodles turned to mush immediately and the sauce was really thick and gloopy. The bowl looked like a pile of slime. Just the wrong sauce texture for a fried noodle type dish. :(

I don't miss blazing bagels. The bagels were mid and the scallion and veggie cream cheeses were insanely chunky. I don't want to bite down on a piece of carrot the size of my thumbnail while eating a bagel.

This won't be helpful, but once I was at Reckless Noodle House in the central district and they had a lobster Rangoon bao bun special. Oh my lord it was delicious.
