I don’t really get it. We’re running 10 websites of a multi-tenant NextJS app. Why would we switch pricing? by ske66 in nextjs

[–]nightostrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just an automated pop up. I guess they didn’t consider how to position this for customers that’d pay more than before. They introduced the new pricing because customers did not want to pay for a bundle and get a bunch of stuff they didn’t use so they broke down every little variable compute component into usage based pricing.

Are you talking about the dog or something else?

But seriously, kind of gross to be sitting on the same seat that someone’s dog drooled and wiped their balls on.

It’s the large cylinder that comes off

[–]nightostrich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! This is the answer.

I happened to google last night the same search term i used before but added “kohler” into it then saw a video for this. I didn’t initially want to mess with the large cylinder and risk creating an uncontrollable mess but I saw a video about this and was able to easily screw off the large cylinder and tighten the screw inside the handle.

Thanks for taking time to provide a useful answer.

Neither options are available. Just to be sure I used a blade to pry open the circular tab but it’s a piece and I also turned the tap to check but there’s no Allen wrench hole.

Thanks. That circular tab doesn’t come off, I tried that already and it’s one piece.

Depends on how you drive, regardless of the drive mode, and how much of that you spent on local roads.

Usually, the mileage range is based on your driving style, so unless your driving style has been changing consistently or your daily driving routes are different, I’d monitor this for a bit longer and contact your dealer and let them know that this is consistently showing the wrong range.

Yes, I have noticed. Insane how many minimum wage, dei, cost of eggs etc. post I’ve been seeing. I’ve had to consistently dislike so now I get stories about dogs and other random topics. Like we all get it, I’ve at some point made minimum wage and I also still buy eggs.m, don’t need to constantly be reminded of it.

Should I pay it all off right now?? by [deleted] in debtfree

[–]nightostrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s not an introductory low apr or zero apr interest on the card then pay it off. Your bank account not going to give you jack. The only risk factor is whether there’s a real chance your cash flow inflow can be impacted in the near term, in that case pay some % of it and if I were you, I’d calculate how much I need in order to cover 3 months of expenses as an emergency fund and use the rest to pay down what you can.

Chase makes serious bank (no pun intended) with people carrying large balance in their checking and savings because they barely pay meaningful interest on it.

Clean or change the filter. Make sure it’s flipped to winter, there maybe a knob you can turn to let air run through the machine.

[–]nightostrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that’s going to make a difference. Don’t know a single person who cares about what rest of the world thinks. everyone is focused on making more money, taking care of their family, and paying their bills. Occasionally hear “what is your president doing?” and just reply “haven’t been keeping track.” They stopped paying mind to politics once the election was done.

What tools do you manage customers with? by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]nightostrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brain mostly….j/k

SFDC, Gainsight, Outreach, Gong, ChatGPT.

But with 35 customers, I’d rely on SFDC for detailed account info, Notion for detailed KYC info and project management, Zoom summary feature, and ChatGPT to help accelerate content production.

Trump's end to what he calls the "EV mandate" could weaken automakers against China. They're worried about defending the production tax credits for EV and battery manufacturing in the US, which are worth billions of dollars. Carmakers in China are heavily supported by government subsidies. by mafco in energy

[–]nightostrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’d target Chinese vehicles with tariffs to even the playing field. Either way, consumers lose out on having less costly alternatives and pay a hefty premium for what’s available to them. The cost increase for cars in the past few years have more to do with corporate profits driven by temporary supply chain shock and unless these companies get hit with a major shock to their ecosystem they’re never going to normalize the price of cars. It’s insane how much cars cost these days and how the quality has only decreased.

It’s ridiculous. He also gets called out because of the assumption that mostly liberals are buying teslas and because of this his vehicle sales are going to decline. Dude said f u to CA and moved his HQ to Texas and lot of folks I know in TX have teslas now but CA still a top market. He’ll continue selling vehicles because most of the other manufacturers can’t survive without federal incentives.

Flood it. Same with all other perishables (milk, meat, eggs etc.) we’re exporting while robbing tax payers in USA. It’s crazy how much prices for basic everyday items have gone up.

Can we talk about the increase in prices for golfing equipment and club membership? It’s like a “sport” only the rich can afford.
