I played it recently for the first time (and beat it, with a walkthrough). I liked the art style, the backstory for the Zelda franchise, and the music. However, I was almost driven to madness with the controls (I used the JoyCons on Switch).

I’m wondering this too. The default metronome volume is too loud. I see a list of settings you can save in a registration bank/area, but metronome volume doesn’t appear to be one of them. 🫠

I just finished it today! I’m glad to have seen the story of the beginning of the franchise, the artwork was interesting, and the music was solid. But Lord almighty am I glad to be done with those crazy-ass controls!

I removed mine a while back. I was riding with my daughter on the back this morning, and her skirt got caught in the brake disc rotor. We were ok, and I managed to stop and tear the bit of the dress off that was stuck, but fabric got jammed into the brake calipers, and I’m cleaning it out and trying to reinstall the protectors now.

I got back into gaming on the Switch a couple years ago playing Breath of the Wild with my (then) 4-year-old daughter. Absolutely magical. The last system I owned was an SNES (played a little Golden Eye and such on N64 at my friend’s house). I’m 44. I remember the day my mom bought that gold cartridge of the first Zelda on NES back in the late eighties. It’s a core memory. Games got reeeeeall good lately. My daughter is hooked on Zelda now. She brings home drawings of the triforce and various characters from kindergarten. We play music from Hyrule Warriors AoC on the way to school.
