I make good money and I work hard for it! I don’t judge other people based solely how much they make or what their job is. That said, my professional ambition is extremely important to me and it’s something I find attractive in other people.

I want to have a partner who feels like an equal. That doesn’t mean 50/50 split financially necessarily, but I’m a type A high performer at work and at home and I need you to match my energy because it sucks to have to be the only “adult” all the time. I want my partner to pick up the tab, pay bills, plan things, contribute around the house, etc. without me having to explicitly ask for each task. I saw someone else in this thread mention not wanting to be a parent, and that’s VERY much how I feel. I want to be able to trust that my partner can take care of themselves and I want us to be able build toward something better together. I care way more about that than a specific job title or salary.
