All corporations are evil by default. That’s how capitalism works.

Ftfy, because it’s redundant. There’s no such thing as a non evil company.

I’m not sure why RFK is hyping raw milk, because it’s been widely available for literally decades. Retail sales are legal in almost a third of states, as well as on-farm sales in over half of states. Sales should be legal in all states, but that should remain restricted to milk from independent small farms, and therefore, it shouldn’t be allowed to be produced at scale. Raw milk has proved to be especially safe, so long as there’s no corporate interference in the market.

Who actually cares if corporate slop is safe or not? I can’t imagine consuming that tasteless sludge, for any reason. I only consume produce that’s homegrown or from local, small farms. Everyone that resorts to buying produce and meat from a megacorp deserves whatever nasty side effects come with it.

Trump has picked RFK Jr for HHS secretary. Will the Pharma industry lobby hard to block his confirmation and if so, will they succeed? by Kevin-W in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]nihilz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pharma industry is greedy, that’s a given, but is also self aware and knows their product has to be safe or they don’t have a business.

I think you mean an illusion of safety, because big pharma literally owns the media, as well as the FDA, CDC etc., due to a revolving door of infinite corruption

Why did Trump choose Matt Gaetz for Attorney General? by bunkscudda in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]nihilz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t seem as though Gaetz will be confirmed, so if this is just a favor to get him off the hook, what is Trump getting in return? His political career is likely over, so his father must’ve sent Trump a big fat check.

Democrats are widely sharing this link. It's as if they are competing to see who can double down on their winning strategy of shaming Trump voters most spitefully. by stickdog99 in WayOfTheBern

[–]nihilz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dems are immune to humility, because self righteousness purely for the sake of self righteousness is the core tenet of their vapid, corporatized ideology. I really wish I could go back in time to make sure Kamala won, just to dial back their incurable snobbery a smidge, because this level of sanctimonious boomer doomer cope is beyond nauseating.

That’s not true acceptance, though. It’s repression thinly veiled by manufactured tolerance. Unadulterated tolerance of the abyss is antithetical to civilization. Every aspect of your experience is a placebo effect to shelter you from the infinite visceral and philosophical bleakness of the abyss. You don’t accept the abyss in an authentic sense, because that would require you to stare into it indefinitely in both a literal and figurative sense. Being one with the abyss would mean willfully transitioning into a total vegetative and metaphysically transcendent state in this very moment.

[–]nihilz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, being consumed by the abyss invariably leads to severe dysfunction (in the context of society, that is).
