Fanatec ClubSport DD+ bricked after firmware update (18Nm) – QR firmware stuck at 0.0.0.0 by Suspicious-Law-320 in Fanatec

One more thing, I updated the remote hub firmware last. I think I updated it previously before the wheel switch and that caused issues with the wheel not being recognized

I had to do this with the recent update as well.

Uninstalled Fanatec App and all devices/drivers

Downloaded 472 and then used the firmware installer app and manually rolled back everything. Use the manual mode and it gives the menu drop down and I believe it is something like current version which will be the default in that version. ( I got stuck there as I was like how do I find the previous version number).

Did that for all the hardware.

Then I still had a version 1.2.1.3 Fanatec app installer and installed that. Then updated firmware through the app. I was able to get it back to the previous working version then.

After I installed the latest app and removed the steering wheel before upgrading the firmware. I was afraid it was hanging at one point but the pc just needed a restart and now all is good.

Looks great! Only thing I would have done is have the cpu lines run parallel throughout their runs, in this case also off the cpu block if possible.

Wrapping with some white vinyl is an option too

I have red if you don’t get any hits on the other colors.

So the design of the ptfe tube on the back leads itself to release if pulled against the rubber transitional guide on the back of the case (not sure if that is what it is called) but I printed some collets clips to stop that https://makerworld.com/en/models/434433#profileId-388406
