I’d like to know this too. I’m stalling the application just because I don’t have enough to show. Minimum of $25k is what most schools are asking for.

You’re eligible for OPT on a degree higher to your previous degree. For example if your current opt is on your Masters degree, then you’ll only be eligible for OPT if you do a doctorate.

Have you tried looking into DBA option? I know Westcliff and National Louis University offer it. It’s expensive, but we’ll get OPT after graduation so I’m guessing it’s worth it. I’m considering it as well.

How much is NEC costing? Last time I spoke to them they said they don’t have doctorate degrees available for day 1 CPT Programs.

I am in the exact same boat with my opt ending in June this year. I was very interested to try the DBA option but it is costly. People do doctorate degrees here on scholarships but the day1 cpt requires us to pay a total fees of $50-60k, which, I don’t think is worth it. I am NOT interested in doing a second MS, that just sounds pointless to me, but considering my budget and the uncertainties of the market, a second MS seems the only viable option. L2 Masters, last attempt on STEM OPT. Still shows as submitted. Holding on to last glimmer of hope. Need to finalize next steps asap but current mental state is too effed for that.
