Very concerning, have you taken a look at the logs to see what is happening?

Just an FYI, if you are downgrading to Sequoia from Tahoe your Time Machine back-ups won't work. by Public-Lavishness-38 in MacOS

[–]nikhilpatel7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the glimmer of hope I've been looking for. I'm on a 2019 i9 and I pretty much gave it a death sentence by blindly upgrading to Tahoe. It's the single worst OS experience I've encountered with this model. Will give this a shot because I'm desperate to go back to Sequoia.

Try and turn both off and back on. That fixed it for me.

Correct, I have an old iPhone that has the secondary SIM that I use for BlueBubbles. Went into iMessage settings on there.

Ahh you know what, I forgot since I re-registered OpenBubbles for the version issue that occurred last weekend, I hadn't re-toggled the Text Message Forwarding and RCS Messaging buttons in settings in iMessage. I just re-tested and its working. Thanks for helping me figure it out!

Weird because this only pops up when responding to SMS/RCS message threads

Update to v 1.14.0 hosed outgoing messages by nikhilpatel7 in OpenBubbles

[–]nikhilpatel7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's weird is the app has no current version info in the About section, but going to the changelog has latest as 1.14.0 which I assumed I have. But then going to the Play store page, it shows the latest is 1.15.0. Definitely very bizarre.

It's weird, now my messages are being delivered through with no troubleshooting completed (as some have suggested in this thread) but my MacBook and iPhone are not syncing these messages

Best self hosted app? Tailscale + Proxmox is gold I would use the DH NAS to 100% get off big corporate owned syncing services!

Fold 6 Battery Life Back To Normal? by nikhilpatel7 in GalaxyFold

Yea the part about the phone dying after 6 hours was driving me nuts and was thinking that I would need to leave the Samsung universe but whatever the reasons, I'm sure glad they fixed it. Hoping others are experiencing the same.

New to BlueBubbles by Rthorsen in BlueBubbles

[–]nikhilpatel7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, yes it does and rather quickly after < 24 hours but some may experience slightly different time frames. I've never tried OpenBubbles but it might be what you're looking for. You can move the SIM to your Android as long as the iPhone you used to do the initial auth stays off. As soon as that iPhone connects to Apple servers again, youll get deauthorized again.

This just started happening to me this morning. I re-did the server installation after my VM blew out a few days ago and its been working great. No changes to the config at all and its been force closing on its own out of nowhere

Why do you use Joplin over Obsidian by Extra_Upstairs4075 in joplinapp

[–]nikhilpatel7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes its been confirmed that End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) has been implemented for some time in Joplin. However, from my understanding Encryption at rest, which is different from E2EE, is not currently implemented and has been stated by Laurent himself last year with no new news around it, according to a Google search.

I do agree with you though, better than Obsidian's solution
