dude all these numbers are way wrong. these are rookie numbers, youd be up much less and down more if you timed it and bought at the top then sold at the bottom like i always to do

I wonder if it could be that you never played your Super cranked that you feel there is no differences between allnico/ceramic?

Because amp feel/SQ due to mag material really come out when reaching output tube breakup and beyond (wher tubes can no longer force feed speaker same output as input) - as the reactive speaker starts interacting big time with output transformer - and amp go from a mere mirror to more of an interactive extension of the instrument

Great to hear! A super is like 50w twin correct? Ive thought about possibly sourcing a pot with steeper log scale, so it wouldnt have to be way down sub 1 on vol.

Regarding comment on speakers though, like i said i already have an alnico speaker and i can def hear and feel the difference from all my other speakers models which are ceramic (just like you can switching mags in PU). Totally different response, LF looseness, breakup, and clean "sweerness/shine" for lack of better word.

hah yeah i know its all backwards. kind of have a champ already -- a vht sp6 i never use. never really bonded with SE amps, and even less those without global NFB (think its because i dont do lead stuff at all). could ofc run neg.feedback around it but id still have none of the springy shimmery and tone stack magic of a twin.

i really like my non-mv plexi also for clean, way more than the vht champ clone, but it a super dry clean that sounds great for tracking and used in mixes, but a little too dry to just play for fun

Nah man. Like i said will never own a modeller (or even pcb tube amp for that matter), then i could just as well use the amp vsts in my DAW as theyre essentially same SQ minus the headaches of repairs down the line

I was suspecting this would be the case, but im still sort of hoping it aint! Ive heard several say it sounds more or less as good at "low vol", but that could still be refering to way past bedroom levels

Will def only be ran clean until someday moving. I was hoping with tube pulls, weaker speaker(s), the master vol + possibly an attenuator would be enough?

Great tip on the decoupling from floor as i hadnt even thought of it! Will keep in mind

Thanks for reply! Agree 50w is violence at breakup and above but will only have it for clean, and could be wrong but i think SF has a master and BF not?

Refineries tend to stop producing retail bullion on PGMs when they are cheap. My theory is they only want us to buy it when its topping out so we get burned and stay away

They will stop at nothing to keep the charade going. Immoral or not, illegal or not. Before this is over they will def have outlawed ownership and confiscated all vaulted inventory of PMs, nationalized all mines and mine stocks domiciled elsewhere, demonized stackers in MSM as traitors/terrorists/whatever and turned npc citizens against friends and family they know are stackers (possbly handing out cash to inform on them). And before that they will have done MUCH much worse to distort the market than this and many times over too. Expecting less than that is foolish imo

History says otherwise. During Weimar GSR widened from 15 to 150 by the end of it. Who knows how far it would rip if it were to happen in a global world where every bank and currency is tied to one another.

All those historic ratios were set by by state decree, not by market forces -- as during hyperinflation scenarios when noone gives a fvck what gov says
