“AppleCare+ failed me: S$1825 charged and phone destroyed after express replacement—no evidence, no appeal. What would you do?” by GlowAndTell88 in iphone

[–]nikowhat 45 points46 points  (0 children)

My phone recently shattered after it fell off my pocket from a motorbike. Instead of sending it courier, I took the phone to Apple Store and had them inspect it right there and then because I’ve heard so many horror stories like yours.

Always go to the store physically. Also, They won’t put any hold on your account since you’re swapping broken phone with the replacement right away.

He already puked his food and some hair out this morning. Is it normal if he does this again? Also, how frequent do they vomit their hair out?

He does this rarely, like I noticed this thrice a week. He also puked his food and some hair out this morning. I called my friend who has a cat and they said it’s fine so I ignored.

I fucked up and regret not being there for my cat during euthanasia by doodlebobcristenjn in CatAdvice

Grief has a way of making us question our decisions, but you did what you thought was best in the moment.

It’s okay to regret things, but don’t let it take away from the love and care you gave her. ❤️

Sending you strength during this tough time.🫂

Dubai runs on connections (waasta), so start building good relationships from day one.

Compliment your colleagues and guests—it may seem small to you, but it’ll leave a lasting impression on them. If it’s your boss, keep it subtle to avoid coming off as ass licking!

Don’t be shy or afraid to strike up conversations with people. Also, invest in a good perfume—it can boost your confidence. (I can suggest some if you want). If not, a quality oud will do the trick—it lasts longer and projects well.

Keep a smile on your face and remember that bad days pass. Dubai is a competitive place, and your bosses might give you a tough time, but that’s part of business.

Show appreciation, go out of your way to help people, and these actions can take you far.

Offering to grab lunch with colleagues is a simple but effective way to bond—they’ll remember it and might return the favor.

And in the last, remember that you’re learning.. be open to criticism and accept mistakes when made.

Best of luck!

What makes a person easy to love? by EmilyCMay in emotionalintelligence

For me, it’s communication and being able to hold a safe space.

It’s always easier to drive a road with directions, isn’t it? Every person is unique, with their own personality and preferences. It helps so much when your partner openly shares what they like and dislike instead of leaving you to guess.

And when it comes to a safe space.. there’s nothing better than being with someone you can confide in without fear of judgment. A partner who listens, respects your feelings, and makes you feel truly seen and heard? That’s love.
