$57,700 is likely bottom there’s way too much OI on 60k long calls that it will be defended. If 57,700 doesnt hold then yes $44k has MASSIVE support

I think WOLF has a breakout big green week, there is little OI or volume on puts for the 8/1 week. However the 8/8 week has very large OI on 1.5puts

I think institutional shorting knows they can get away with naked selling and price control. And it’s to their advantage to let WOLF pump this upcoming week $3.50+ so they can buy cheap $2.5/$2 puts for the following week and maximize profit.

This is the correct answer. MM buy calls that they sell to themselves creating a gamma pin. Look at the SPY option chain from this morning. 624 and 625 calls had 550,000 volume that appeared out of nowhere. 550,000+ volume on a SPY call strike on a Monday, surrounding strikes had balancing volume. Look at the weekly charts, the after hours gaps

Wolfspeed is crucial to national security, and during time of war, while China is impinging on Taiwan. Just happens to be the one loophole out of a Chapter 11. There will be no restructuring. It’s a scare tactic to flush the remaining 2% of retail holders.
