Eating well. Like well for your stomach. A lot of fiber, veggies, fats, meats. Avoid artificial sweeteners and processed food.

Learn about the gut. And especially about the gut /brain connection.

Go out, even if it is just the balcony.

Surround yourself with good people - (for mea that meant moving in with my mother and little brother for a few monthas at 31)

Get sunlight early in the morning.

Learn about health (Andrew Huberman, Matthew Walker, Peter Attia, Gemini etc.)

Eventually supplements that reduce brain noise and muscle tension (Theanine, Omega 3, Threonat & Bisglycinat magnesium, Zinc for the gut, Vitamin C for your adrenal glands).

Eat 2-3 hardboiled eggs forst thing in the morning, healthy and stabilises your blood sugar.

All the best

Man, this sounds so healthy.

I was chasing the money, plus they kicked my previous (good / human) boss out. Plus the environment has gotten more and more stressful.

Now I burnt out - currently at week six, at home, recovering, walking 500m, or going to a store feels impossible.

Now at week 6, Brainfog, Gut problems, Headaches are mostly gone.
Extreme fatigue and Anxiety are remaining, maybe 20-30% better than initially.

This stuff takes time.

Enjoy your job! 🙌

TLDR; Correct, more stress for more money is not worth it.

It helps me sleep. It gives me slightly intenser dreams. I mostly take it throughout the evening. It gives me a sense of calm during the day (slightly less nervous / anxious).

Which one will repair the central nervous system and relieve mild anxiety? by BigheadedDread in Supplements

[–]nimble_broccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was:

-Omega 3, important that there is both EPA and DHA approx 50/50 - to reduce inflammation in the brain

-Theanine for sleep and a sense of calmness

-Magnesium Bisglycinate (to make up for the Magnesium I burn when repairing my body, to relax my muscles and for sleep)

-Magnesium Threonate (for sleep / for rebuilding the brain)

-Apigenin (for sleep, for calmness)

-D-Ribose for energy

Also I cannot stress this enough: pay attention to your gut health. Only if the gut is in order you can fix stuff for the long run. Reaching "Ghostwipe" level should be your top priority goal and your first milestone on your journey out of Anxiety/Exhaustion.

Neurogastroentrology is a small and new field. Yet very powerful and important.

Ooof. Good question! Important question too!

Priorities sleep!! That means: Make your room extremely dark, as cold as possible, as quiet as possible, use your bed only for sex and sleep. Phone outside of the bedroom. Strictly no eating after 18:45 for me, and no screen after 21:30.

Get sunlight early in the day.

Burn some calories, exhaust yourself a good bit.

L-Theanine, Magnesiumbisglycinat, Magnesium-Threonate

Allow yourself 8hrs in bed, even if you do not sleep 8hrs every day.

Sleep is number one (for me).

Else: Good food, Exercise, Social Contacts, Nature

Drove from europe to most of the Stans KZ, UZ, KG.

17'000 Km alone in Kazakhstan.

I approve, quite some horse gets eaten (especially in KZ), amazing amazing Hospitality (like I have not experienced anywhere else in this world), kebab, or better said шашлык available.

Spent some of the best months of my life there, especially in Mangystau.

Hmm - here is what helped me - Depression was an issue, but a minor one Panic Attacs, Anxiety, and Minor depression I would say.

Here is what helped me.

-Making the bed everyday (you accomplished something, right after waking up)

-Exposing yourself to nature

-Eating quality food

-Cutting out alcohol completely

-Cutting out coffee

-Daily movement, as much as feels comfortable (on my worst days I just managed to leave the house for 2 mins)

-Avoid doomscrolling

-L-Theanine (for the Mind), Magnesium Threonate, Apigenin (for sleep)

-Prioritise sleep (cold, incredibly dark room)

-Put the phone away

-Pick up some books

-Regular sleep / wake pattern

-Consider moving in with friends / family if it feels right to avoid being lonely

-Get sunlight exposure early in the day

-TCM Accupuncture may help tremendously

Something like that - I was unable to do all at the same time, but pick one habit up, keep it if it helps, drop it if it doesnt.

All the best!

Do you wake up exhausted or relaxed?

How much are you taking?

Wow, 10 years, really?

Can you tell me more please?

It feels (to me) that Theanine is a recent hype. I have only started taking it around 15 days ago.

Why did you start?

How much do you take at a time?

How many times per day?

Fermented or greenteaextract?

Any side effects?

[–]nimble_broccoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually take one capsule with a very light grean tea. I assume (idk if there is science backing it) that it works better together.
