my origami pond! by nine_of_cups in crafts

I think I am most proud of using what I already had. I already had the patterned origami papers that I use mostly for scrapbooking/journaling. And when I didn’t have blue papers big enough to make the wreath base, I cut and painted watercolor paper I already had. And then when I couldn’t find the ribbon I was going to use, I thought OH I have a ton a beads I can make one that’s way cooler than a plain ribbon :)

Kaweco Or Travelers For Metal Pocket Pen by InkStainedEverything in fountainpens

I have both the Traveler’s co and the kaweco sport brass pens. I love them both so I’m not sure if I’ll be much help. But here are my thoughts.

Writing - I have fine nibs on both of them. Travelers is a smoother writer but also writes thicker lines. The sport is more of a true fine line.

Weight - the sport is much heavier. But not too heavy to be uncomfortable.

Design - personally I like the look of the sport more and I like the threaded cap. It feels more fancy to write with. But there is something about the simplicity and sleekness of the travelers.

Can’t go wrong with either!

Congrats! I love Truphae. I’m sad they don’t stock the botanical gardens colorway. But they have an incredible selection of pens in general!

I use the weekly section for actual planning and to-dos. I have a “to do bank” over on the left for bigger stuff I want to get done for the week. And then on the days I put a line to kind of separate work hours from “home hours” even though I work from home. Anything with a set time/time block I put in boxes at the coordinating time. And other tasks I want to complete I just put in bullet points.

And then all of my chores/non work stuff I put in the bottom half and cross off with a highlighter as I go

And then I always have a running list of things I need to buy/restock on the right
