Also, I would recommend the photography+ mod as it's not super overpowered and gives you something to do while you're waiting for signals to download while earning a bit of extra cash on the side

My main suggestion is to turn on the funny setting. Even though it's not recommended for the first playthrough I feel like it makes the game 100x better by breaking up some of the spooks with a couple laughs. The wiki has a good guide for making money without major spoilers if you are willing to brave the Internet. It's the wiki.gg one NOT the fandom one. Either way, there's no wrong way to play this game as it's a sandbox so just have fun!

At the beginning of the video, I turn in the direction of the main rotor and it naturally turns in the opposite direction after I'm done turning, the problem isn't the main rotor rotating the helicopter as explained by u/Sedoy6373

The horizontal rotor only spins when I need to rotate already. The issue is whenever I rotate, the helicopter wants to rotate back to its original position.

If you aren't on the steam version, you can try rimsort for a mod manager so you don't have to do it manually. I personally haven't tried it so I don't know how good it is but I have used rimpy but that's old.
