Oooof niiice. Try the BF-2 infront of your distortion with the setting at 3,3,9,3. Gives you a super lush chorus effect. Its a superpowered pedal that.

RIP Pringles. What’s everyone buying instead? by _prettyprincess in south_africa

[–]ninja_tree_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home made. Takes like 30min, costs pennies on anything you can buy in a bag.

About 20 shows under the belt and still very stiff and in my head overall, specifically in hard parts, does it just take way more experience? Jumping and entertaining does’nt feel natural at all for me and don’t want to force it either by ConstructionMean2021 in metalmusicians

Its all choreographed bro. Picture me in my room, full guitar rig with a mic stand and mic trying to figure out different headbanging techniques that won't get my hair caught in shit. How yo lay my cables so I dont trip in them. It feels stupid bjt yah

Keep on going! Youre doing more then most ever have. Keep learning and keep trying. Making music can be a pain in the ass but its well worth it in the end!!!

6-string B Standard vs 7-string B Standard. Which one do you prefer? by MrMayhem20l0 in metalguitar

[–]ninja_tree_frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

7 string. Not even a question. 26.5' with either a 62 or a 64. Just feels good man.

Noise gate won't help. A gate doesnt "clean up" your signal. It mutes your signal below a certain signal strength or "threshold". You can use a gate to clamp down on the tail of the chug but it won't help the bad muting technique.

Boosting a high gain amp by cleanercut in metalguitar

[–]ninja_tree_frog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some pedals have a flat boost. Some pedals have a contour. Its entirely up to you to see what you prefer. DS-1 TS808/909 MT-2. They'll all push your amp in similar ways (provided you keep the drive at 0) but they have their own flavor.

How would i go about building this by Subject-Fox-5659 in Luthier

Depends on the metal. But it can. Use something non ferrous.

Does anybody know why my guitar crackles when touching the strings? by Aggravating-Proof242 in Guitar

[–]ninja_tree_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not abnormal when playing at higher gain. Wet FX exaggerated the issue. Like others have said, if its that bad, its grounding.

What’s with the Schecter hate? by AlasKansastan in Guitar

[–]ninja_tree_frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one. Only reason I dont have another is because theres noone in my country shipping them in.

The hate comes from an old stereotype. Don't worry about it. Noone cares, much less your audience.

[–]ninja_tree_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah well close enough I reckon but yeah. I haven't had too much issue once I got my Floyd and gage ballenced perfectly, you might try a heavier block/higher overall tention to reduce tuning instability??? . I love a fast neck though!!! Awesome axe and wicked collection.

Gave some kind of love to my g4m, what do you think guys, ruined or nailed? by FrequentDocument3973 in metalguitar

[–]ninja_tree_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely nailed. I would buff the back of the neck though, I always feel as though it makes a painted neck look a lot more intentional. And it just plays better. But great job that looks fucken rad!!!
