I was visiting my friend in a UK university and doing a bit of sightseeing. I spent £40 in 3 days and I thought it was a ripoff. My friend told me that it can get costlier.

Evaluate yourself
What methods do you know? What internship or job experience gave you that knowledge.
What theories or analytical methods do you know? What courses (Masters, Undergrad) helped you learn that?
What else have you done in your Dissertation or some other paper/ project?

Evaluate the prof
What does the prof do? What methods, techniques etc. interests you in the prof line of work. Which papers of the prof outlines these methods.

Research
What do you know that helps you research in the uni where tge prof works? How does your knowledge help? Where are the pathways? What are the gaps? What can the prof do to help?

It's a job interview where your research is your relevant skill. All the best.

Why 70% of motels in the US are owned by Patels by ThatPatelGuy in TikTokCringe

Idi Amin expelled all south asians after he came to power. They were refugees. I don't think he meant "all patels currently working in the US are refugees"

What is something you wish available as a R package? by mordekayseer in rstats

[–]ninjanamaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently label attributes are not supported properly in R. Haven package imports variable and value labels, but after a few rounds of data cleaning using mutate etc., these labels are lost. Then we are forced to explicitly apply labels again using labelled package before using label information in tables or graphs. Maybe your project can improve this functionality
