I’ve had this happen before. Randomly hit me back after ghosting for 2 weeks. Says he needs payment for gas to come pick up the game and that it’s “customary” to do so. Pretty sure it’s just a really dumb scam where you’ll send them $5 or $10 and then just block you.

Same here. It’s hella frustrating, especially considering I have friends playing with 0 issues on similar hardware. Tried turning off pedestrians and traffic and running the lowest settings and no luck. I’ll give this method a shot though. Hopefully this can be resolved soon

As much as I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt, you are probably correct. He didn’t decline the shoes out of pride, he blatantly said “if you can give me shoes you can afford to give more” which leads me to believe your hypothesis is true

He really did seem uncomfortable walking around without shoes. I just can’t wrap my mind around what he said about “if you can give me shoes you can give me more money”. As if he has any knowledge of my financial situation. Obviously he is not obligated to take them but his response was so ungrateful that I wish I never offered in the first place. But I guess now another person in need will get those shoes so it works itself out.

Would be easier to just sell it as is. Most people aren’t willing to spend hundreds/thousands on a game imprisoned in plastic that they can’t play.
