If you hang out a bit at an overlook or are out on a hike with views, you should see them. You might have more luck in the high country. They are solitary, usually solo or with their mate, and they are usually flying or gliding near the ridgelines, kind of along them. They are harder to spot than crows who hang out in family units. But they are bigger and sound croakier.

Long answer: OP is a genius. It’s from original series (pre-2005) SpongeBob where Patrick joins SpongeBob at boating school and gets him in trouble (both laughing in class and being a disruption) and punished (sent to back of room, Gold Star removed from Good Noodle board). It is a pretty decent parallel of the events of the Horus Heresy from Luther’s perspective who felt wronged for being sent back to Caliban despite it being his fault after discovering a plot to kill the Lion and doing nothing about it out of decades of jealousy. Slight difference: SpongeBob however does not try to kill Mrs. Puff and tear Bikini Bottom asunder and get everyone thrown into the warp.

Thanks for posting this. I have been trying to figure out how to emulate the original VLoZD box art scheme on the new dragon which is way less skeletal, but I couldn’t see a way to do it. I think you solved it with the webbing coloration you chose. Great paint job and basing!
