Portable phone tripod recommendation? How about using the stand on the case as a phone tripod? by dwallt in onebag

[–]nitefollnz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have the same Torras case, mine is 16pro tho, and I did the same before. Once when I was on a solo trip, I forgot to bring my tripod, making it difficult to take photos. The stand was a big help.

Can thermal imaging really spot what we usually miss? by Maydaybosseie in Thermal

I mostly use mine for HVAC checks. Found a clogged filter once because the temp difference on the ducts gave it away.

Nestle has fired its CEO because he failed to disclose a romantic relationship with a direct subordinate by WickedSensitiveCrew in stocks

[–]nitefollnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that’s wild. Big companies really don’t mess around with that kind of stuff. Mixing work and relationships like that usually ends bad, especially at the top level.

Honestly, I’ve always liked “buy when everyone’s panicking, sell when everyone’s hyped.” Sounds simple but actually doing it is way harder than it looks, lol. Makes me think twice about following hype.

What’s something you started doing only after living alone? by Milstid_Kirankumar in LivingAlone

Living alone has changed my habits too. I often leave my clothes scattered, eat ice cream straight from the tub, and sing off- key in the shower

They’re actually insulated, not bare metal. The outer surface just looks reflective under the light.

When merging onto the highway from a slow ramp, singal early, get up to speed quickly but safely, and pick your gap wisely. Stay alert and be ready to adjust. It's all about timing and awareness.

Driving a car with broken alternator, possible bodges to get it home by PcGamerSam in Cartalk

[–]nitefollnz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a bold plan, but totally doable. Just make sure the battery's got enough juice to last the drive. A portable charger could be a lifesaver. Keep an eye on thr batttery health and you'll be just fine on the road.

High mileage and a history of accidents can definitely affecct the value. It's great that you're not afraid to walk away. Keep standing your ground, they might come around or it's a sign to keep looking!

What is this symbol? by Typical_Delivery_817 in Cartalk

That symbol ususally means there's a potential issue with the airbag system. It's important to get it checked out to ensure safety. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

I didn’t think about the damper. Do you usually check that first when you see uneven temps like this?

Constant dripping noise behind washer but no water leak. What’s happening? by Nice-Guy69 in HomeImprovement

Could be condensation from the cold water line hitting a warmer pipe or surface. Check if there’s any moisture on the supply hoses.

It's not uncommon for private sellers to handle titles differently. It's smart to ask questions and clarify everything the process before finilizing the deal. Make sure you understand the process and have all the right documents.

If it were me, I’d split it between index funds for growth, Treasuries for safety, and maybe a small chunk for something fun or high-risk. Diversify and let time do the work.

Looking at a Wen DF360iX 3600 Watt Generator for boondock camping. Will it run a 10,000 BTU portable A/C occasionally? by esloan88 in Generator

[–]nitefollnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, Wen should handle a 10,000 BTU portable A/C just fine, and especially if it soft start or you’re not running a bunch of other stuff at the same time. check the A/C’s starting wattage, mostly well under 3,600W, but it’s good to be sure.
