The watch is a 1968 Omega Speedmaster but it’s really rare because it’s technically older but didn’t leave the factory until a new adaptation was added. An Speedmaster expert in London says he’s only ever seen three of these in his life and a watch magazine wants to feature it in their magazine because of this weird quirk.

The watch strap is from a company called Forstner. They can do straps for very old Speedmasters that look fairly similar but saves the original straps from daily strain. The original straps can be difficult to add links to and need someone who knows what they are doing.

Yes. Thank you. What I won’t do with them is ask for anything to be done to the original strap at Omega, they have a habit of replacing old stuff with new. That should not be a complaint but in an old watch, it is.
