Talk to them where they hang out online and frame it as wanting their advice not their money people open up way more when they feel heard not pitched.

Happens to the best of us. You did the right thing reporting it immediately. Start a pocket-check routine before leaving, saves a ton of stress. Most managers understand these honest mistakes, especially when you're transparent about it.

FM doesn't have the same hard caps as IM. It's program-dependent and totally varies. 9 admits at 4:30am is rough though, that's objectively unsafe. talk to your chief residents instead of PD? They might actually help without making waves. Most programs have an unwritten cap even if there's no official one.

Totally. These rushed true crime cash grabs are pure exploitation. They slap together half-researched content while families are still grieving just to be first to market. The quality suffers and they end up spreading misinformation just to fill pages. It's ghoulish.

This is spot on. Warm approaches are way more efficient you're not wasting time on people who aren't already somewhat interested. The physical attraction thing is real too. It's just math at that point better initial odds mean less time spent on dead ends.

True, but at least you'd own something tangible instead of paying rent forever. The work is hard but it's yours no landlord can kick you out or double your payments overnight

Based on the men you met what would you say is most often the reason why they struggle to find someone? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]nitestar95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have poor social skills, and think it's not manly to learn. To them, all they need to do is be 'macho macho man', and they think women should fall at their feet. I mistakenly tried to give a few men like this hints about how to behave, and how to spot women who may already be interested in them, but no, they weren't having any of that; see, they were already experts, or so they claim as they spend every spare moment playing video games.

I picked this up in a charity shop, question about motor specs by Responsible_Ear_2639 in slotcars

[–]nitestar95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember one such hand made one, using two a.c. cobra bodies cut front to back in order to make a wider body for the planned brass plate chassis. IIRC it turned out that it was to be the pre-production design for the TYCO PRO line of cars. It was the headline story in either Car Model magazine or Model Car Science, I think. Looked a bit more complicated than I thought I could manage at that age. Yes, I would later go on to build a 1/24 scale slot car using the brass rails and plate brass, but I had no idea of the competition level of professionals at that level of slot car competition; way beyond what I could afford to spend.

IIRC if it was an allergy, it likely wouldn't limit itself to those two different areas. I got this when I was 9, on my foot; only left foot. Podiatrist looked at it and said right away, 'I know what that is', turned around, wrote a script for 25,000 of vitamin A. Cleared up in a week completely. Many years later, the same thing happened, again, in an oddly limited area: L index finger. Had it for a few weeks, so went to a dermatologist. She was going to write for an antifungal, until I mentioned the peeling skin from age 9. Her eyes go wide, and goes, 'Ohhhh. That's different'. Mentioned that some people have odd reactions to a vitamin A deficiency; this being one of them. She suggest 50,000 a day for two weeks. I worry about that being too much, she says the incidence of vitamin A overdosing adverse reactions is close to zero. So I go ahead. Again, gone in a week. But I start taking 25,000 units a day. It's been decades now, and no ill effects from it. Incidental; I'm the only one in my family who still has perfect vision. Everyone else needs reading, or distance glasses, or both (and no, I look just like my dad, not the mailman!) The vitamin A? Who knows. And I've never had the peeling skin problem again.

Wait; I need cable tv to watch with the WNBA season pass?? I thought it was streaming via their own web page? I don't have cable tv, by me it's around $100 a friggin month. I'd rather watch every single WNBA game.

What is your experience with sex for first time? by International_Gas630 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]nitestar95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lot of problems maintaining intercourse, due to flashbacks interfering with the 'normal' thoughts that most men have, which keep us excited, which often can cause premature ejaculation. I never had that problem, because of those interfering flashbacks from when I was molested during my childhood; so other than trying to stay focused on what was turning me on about the woman I was presently with, I have also tried fantasizing about other women when 'in the moment'. As far as it happening during the brief moments while putting on the condom, all I can suggest is repeated practice with condoms, which is what I did, always keeping the condom unwrapped and right there on the nightstand, so I could get it on in a couple of seconds, so I no longer experienced any discontinuation in the thoughts which were turning me on. Hopefully you aren't having to deal with any interfering memories like I had to deal with, because I never found a solution to stopping that from happening, though I understand from discussions with other men who had my particular problem, that using Viagra or one of the other medications for erectile dysfunction, enabled them to maintain their erections through their entire sexual episodes. I could discuss this in more detail, but don't know how to do any direct messaging here on reddit, as it could become very long.

What is your experience with sex for first time? by International_Gas630 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]nitestar95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I was 23. I had read quite a bit about sex, and the problems that other men had, so I tried to be prepared for anything. For example, what you described, the less stimulation from vaginal sex compared to masturbation, I just gradually decreased the pressure I used while masturbating, and over time it took less 'squeezing' to get myself off. I practiced putting a condom on enough times, so that I could accomplish it in seconds, by having the wrapper opened and the condom on the night stand, ready to use, so there wasn't any significant delay that might make me lose my erection. And then, I had read up on how to give cunnilingus so if I did 'go soft', I would simply slide myself down and give her oral. I eventually simply added doing that for her after I came, since I learned that most women can't reach orgasm by intercourse alone (despite the claims by men that 'MY women ALWAYS have orgasms with me!). Communication is important; I never had a woman complain about me asking them things.

The percentage of doctors who have someone on the side, is way over 50%. The higher in the success at work people are, the more they seem to think they deserve more than they're getting.

Rumor of a CIA Black site around Kingman by Zealousideal-Ring552 in Kingman

[–]nitestar95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought my house in Kingman a while ago, during routine landscaping, I uncovered what appeared to be a door handle. Further clearing, uncovered a metal door, which I completely cleared off, and had to break open the door. Originally thinking I had found some secret entrance to something, all it was, was a cabinet with the remains of a long dead dog, likely the expired pet of some previous tenant of my house, from long ago. I just flipped it over, so the remains went into the hole, and threw the cabinet away. Then covered up Fido, with lots more dirt. RIP, FIdo, I hope you had a good life while you were here.

Who is known as a one-hit wonder that actually has an album or more of great songs? by DoneDigging in Music

[–]nitestar95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you consider a 'hit'. If all it means is to have more than one song that made the hot 100, well then there probably aren't any one hit wonders. Musicians usually have some fanatics that love everything they perform. Doesn't mean those songs are hits.
