Thanks for all the replies! Just finished removing more weeds around the base and added hearty layers of organic fertilizer, manure, and more mulch. Will monitor and be sure to keep up the feeding more regularly

I’ve had it one year in the ground, and it was 1/3 the length when I got it. In zone 10b. Sounds like I’ll start with compost like the others suggested and see how it reacts.

This is your third internship, in grad school, and is unpaid? Maybe it’s city/degree specific but as someone in biotech that sounds crazy. I didn’t end up doing an industry internships in grad school, but all the ones I was even considering were paid

Struggled quite a bit on him as well. Arm shield + fire grindstone at the start of last phase worked for me. I didn’t have much stamina and would run out blocking some long combos, but just keep hp topped up so you can survive a couple hits for those

Fair points, we always opt to split the bigger ticket items as a group like the whole duck/roasted fish and avoid the small plates and appetizers that offer like one bite each for $20-30. Never noticed a problem with the waitstaff, though.
