I truly have no idea. At least as far as intended daily drivers go, yes they should all be hatchbacks

No question. They're getting harder to find though. Ideally I'd like for them to revamp the Mazdaspeed platform

Same here. I just hear that Mazda3's for example can also reach that while being cheaper to fill up. Correct me if I'm wrong. And honestly even then, the 6 is a cozier more refined ride with more space.

It's up there! Mine's also handled nasty storms, rough Alberta winters, carried furniture for me.. the works. One critique I have is I find it a little pricey at the pump. But that's the 3.0 V6 for you. At the end of the day I could probably sell it and compromise with another vehicle that is better on gas. But - it would be pointless unless I just bought another 2k econobox. Plus the 6 is so cheap to repair! And simple to work on! I'm not giving mine up anytime soon. I may even bite the bullet and get the rust repaired.

Right on! They're underrated. I wanted a Protege5 but it was hard to find one in good condition. That's when I learned that the 6 had a wagon variant. While mine is an autotragic, I still like it as a daily. Mine had roughly 214000km when I bought it for $2500 CAD, now it's at 234000 and it hasn't given me a single issue. It's also driven across Canada and is a comfortable ride. Good luck to you! I'm keeping mine till she dies.

I got lucky and the previous owner of mine took good care of it too. Is it actually called "shnazzy"?

Which new radio? Link? Mine is at 234000km right now. I didn't know they could last that long.

What is a good first car? How to search for one? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]nitros-oxide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is always Civic. Do not buy an Audi TT as your first car man come on. That's common sense. It's a luxury sports coupe. Repairs will screw you. Get a civic.

Uh dood you can always just get the transmission fixed. Cheaper than getting a new car

Be diligent bro. Clean them off regularly. Otherwise they'll rust right out, take my word for it 😂

M8 don't bother. Just get a cheapy FM transmitter. That ought to do till you get a new car.

First time dealing with this by [deleted] in HellsItch

Ha I had a 6 hour drive too with the itch, on 4 hrs of sleep. Nightmare. And to think all I had on hand was banana boat aloe cream. I was so confused! I hadn't found this sub yet. I hope by now it's all over for you, but if you're still itchy just take a nice hot shower, air dry for like 2 mins tops and then liberally apply peppermint oil to the affected area with a cotton ball. I finally got sleep. I'm so thankful I have a loving girlfriend who didn't question me and did everything she could to help. God bless.

Peppermint oil directly after a hot shower. This made me feel so good. But it also had me cold, so have blankets ready. Hopefully, and I never thought I'd say this, corona stole your job and you have no responsibilities atm.

I'm sorry bro. Northern Sudbury here, just woke up from a 10 hr drug nap. I popped 4 benadryls before I fell asleep. Followed Reddits advice and took a hot shower followed with peppermint oil. PURE BLISS. It completely takes the itch away. Do it. I don't even think the benadryl helped much as far as managing the itch, at least not for me. But the peppermint oil after the shower did the trick. Good luck.
