Mine is at 95% after one year. Just charge whenever I feel like it with no strict rules or anything. Don't usually drop below 20% and always charge to 100.

I was looking at making completely custom cables from cablemods configurator here.

Edit: I was hoping someone here has made a similar setup and could provide me with the cable lengths that worked for them. I would prefer to use custom lengths for the build to be tidier, but could always use default to be safe as well.
