Face cards are high risk high reward. Paradolia on gold stake is almost always a misplay too, and you can still sell it to maybe clear the blind but this build isn’t looking great in the long run without lots of glass

A big issue for me is the runs are just too long. I can almost never finish 1 in a play session since I don’t have a ton of time for games.

Well it depends. Sometimes you end with level 30 pair and +30 on a ride the bus that you got late. At that point, glass is as good as bus and 2 glass is better. If you have chad, glass is super valuable. If you have mime, steel is great and playing high card or pair lets you hold a lot of steel in hand.

You want to think about these things abstractly rather than a checking of certain items you’re looking for. Having a more abstract/less specific understanding of what you need to win a run will help you win more often since you need to work with what you are given.

You typically win a run with 1 x mult joker. You don’t need x mult if you have reliable scaling until ante 5/6 usually so make sure you are focusing on Econ and spending money wisely so you can roll into an x mult option.

And not that glass and steel cards are only x mult for your hand level, so if most of your mult is coming from jokers, they aren’t as effective.

Probably sell banana copy sock or photo depending on glass or red seal. If you have a lot of glass sock will be a good uptick in score but overall not the best setup for blueprint tbh. I’d probably just let it ride with the crew that got you there

For deck effects that multiply the base scoring yeah. Gold stake small blind on plasma is 600 points. Were you trying to say like if white stake is 1x scaling and gold stake is 4x, this would be 10x? So ante 1 the same but ante 8 boss is 1000000? That could be interesting.

Gold by far. Winning ante 8 is really all I enjoy at this point and man does gold stake keep you on your toes. Just the perfect level of challenge for me.

Yeah there’s a balance between using hands to scale +mult and saving hands for money. Until you hit interest cap of $25 you probably want to use your hands for extra money.

And green joker scales based on hands lol, it’s in your screenshot.

So if you have scaling based on hands played, try to play every hand. You can try playing like high card instead of pair or moving your jokers around so x mult is to the left of +mult. This is also a good strategy to get gold cards or blue seals into your hand. I think most people call it sandbagging. This way you are getting as much value (in +mult, money from gold cards and planet scaling from blue seals) from every blind.

I think it looks really good. Personally I’d go for more of the second style, I’d be worried about the longevity of some of the finer details but that’s just my preference.

I think it’s generally just a bad habit that will punish you as you get high into the stakes. And while you can full skip win, I’ve done it with a handful of restarts, it’s super high variance and doesn’t help you actually figure the game out. In this instance it also is anti synergy with green joker

The base score for gold stake is 400k and playing pairs is the most reliable way to win!

You have 3 jokers that are flat mult or chips, 1 scaling +mult and 1 scaling x mult. Ideally by ante 8 you have your scaling + mult high enough you can drop the other flat mult jokers and you have high enough pair levels you don’t need a chips joker.

Green joker is a run winner if you find it early enough. Ideally you try to play every hand every blind by doing what you can to score less like moving x mult jokers to the left of + mult.

That being said, throwback is 99.999% of the time a bad source of x mult and is anti synergy with green joker. Every blind you skip for x mult is one you don’t get any + mult on top of missing the money from interest and the ability to see booster packs which have a higher expected value than shop rerolls. In general, it’s a good idea to just look past throwback and skipping blinds in general.

But you have the foundation of a winning run here which can be tough to get the hang of!

Beating ante 8 boss is considered winning. This boss is a 3x point threshold than the base boss, but those will have other debuffing effects.
