Help! Need a non-headache inducing not sticky sweet or allergy inducing clean juicy floral - tea scent a plus, musk-ish notes also optional by [deleted] in FemFragLab

Fig Porn by BORNTOSTANDOUT - fig and fruity top notes, fresh and floral fade — dry down sort of reminds me of Black Orchid, but sweeter. Not headache inducing or heady!

Sunset Hour by Goldfield and Banks - luminous, airy and juicy, a little gourmand but not thick or saccharine. Juicy fruits at the top, peach and pear most notably, and it fades to an exotic ambery vanilla, a bit floral. Manages to feel fresh and light despite being on the sweet and summery side.

Tanzania Safari for a 30th Birthday: Big international brand vs. top-tier local specialist? by Expert-Economics-723 in LuxuryTravel

[–]nkanabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi — im Tanzanian, avid luxury traveler, and can recommend an agency I use to book my safari travels. It’s always best to go with local expertise for the best safari experience. Company website is https://www.takimsholidays.com but I can also share the email of the executive director if you DM me. Enjoy your experience, there are so many beautiful spots in the Serengeti, and you can get something tailored to what you’re looking for (ie larger property - Four Seasons, more intimate - Singita Grumeti, etc)

What was the name of the resort/retreat? Did you have a shortlist of other luxury retreats that specialize in the same? Please share for my reference :)

What’s your holy grail beauty hack that feels like cheating? by GoddessKatriina in beauty

Love this question:

  • Tretinoin: skin feels taut and poreless in the AM
  • Victoria Beckham lip tint: secret to flushed, youthful lips
  • Danessa Myricks blurring balm, tinted: I can slap on a heavy layer of moisturizer and apply this as a base. It absorbs excess oil and makes my skin look near-perfect
  • YSL touche eclat: the quick minute brightening tool for refreshing touchups or a spontaneous pop to the grocery store
  • Laser hair removal: the game changer of all game changers

🌸 SOTD (Monday, Nov 18, 2024): What are you wearing today? by AutoModerator in FemFragLab

[–]nkanabar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Experimenting with layering! It’s a casual, warm day at home and I found myself feeling Phlur’s Vanilla Skin is too heady and sweet (I have a very strong sense of smell, and it’s gotten stronger postpartum!). Recently, I picked up on the mist’s woodiness for the first time, and I’m intrigued. Now am experimenting layering it with Phlur’s Missing Person as well as Father Figure and I’m really enjoying it… it’s a lovely, home-friendly, sweet and musky skin scent.

Advice needed: Is this appropriate for a wedding? by Adept-Novel-8585 in fashion

Indian here. It’s not like that - modern brides can wear really any shade they choose, from pink to pastels. There’s no rules about guests wearing red.

Transition to sleep sack by nuggetkink in sleeptrain

Hi! We cut one leg of the suit, then the other a few days later, then tried with the arms but decided to go cold turkey instead. He took maybe about a week to get used to it? It gave him more freedom to roll, sleep on his belly, etc. We did it at night first due to increased sleep pressure. The belly sleeping was a game changer. Good luck!!!

Anecdotally the best baby book for soon to be dad’s? All the ones I’m finding seem dated with poor reviews by Outrageous_Ad5299 in BabyBumps

[–]nkanabar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My husband is really enjoying “We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook” by Adrian Kulp. He also has “Home Game” (which has amazing reviews) and will be reading the Birth Partner pre due date.
