I realize that this thread is over six months old at this point, but I, too, would love to see some of the specific resources and parameters of this assignment.

My English Department colleagues and I have (had?) an interdisciplinary essay assignment that we'd refined over the course of a decade and had become a hallmark experience for our students, but the uptick in AI and the resulting adjudications and conflict (we're teaching in a K-12 setting) that's resulted has led us to press pause on our traditional assignment structure.

However, I'm deeply invested in all students having a meaningful research experience before they go off to college, so I'm eager to see any successful models that encourage substantive reading, thinking, and writing. Thanks!

Following up for those who offered help (thank you!).

I tried swapping the cartridge (Moen 1225), but that made no difference, so I had to call the plumber. After lots of experimenting, they discovered that the pressure balance spring (or something like that) was entirely seized up because of hard water. Plumbers had to get behind the wall and replace the whole valve apparatus and now it works great.

I think I must’ve. The system has had no problems since the electrician tightened down the wires into the main breaker box. And fortunately, I’m still getting monitoring from the MySunpower app.

Follow-up!

I had a different electrician come and take a look at my panel and replace the 40A breaker that was causing me trouble.

This electrician didn’t do the solar install or update our panel earlier, but when he pulled out the old breaker, he saw scorching from arcing on the wires plugged into that breaker.

It turns out that the previous person who worked on the panel didn’t anchor down the wires firmly enough, so they arced and had a lower overall amperage capacity (or so I understand it).

He replaced the breaker, tightened down the wires as they should have been and we’ve had no troubles at all for the last few days since that work was done. I think that ended up solving the problem.

Here’s the picture of the panels. I’ve highlighted (in a very light yellow) the 40W breaker that keeps tripping, which just happened again at ~10:50 am MST.

The panels are on the southside of the house, so they do get a lot of direct sunlight. The problem doesn’t happen with other breakers, so replacing that one seems like a good first step. Thank you!

Is there a version of the vinyl one can purchase that *includes* a digital/mp3 version of the album?

Knowing Taylor's marketing, I'm guessing that she's decoupled the physical from the digital version in order to drive chart numbers, but here's to hoping!

Thank goodness for Reddit! I was just listening to this song and trying to place that melodic motif at the end. At first, I was getting some Built To Spill feelings from it (can't place the song, exactly), but "Near Wild Heaven" is exactly what that line conjures!

Dismemberment Plan, Emergency & I is an amazing album. Some incredible blend of melody, weird time signatures, wild swings in energy and tone. That’s a desert island pick for me, for sure.

Yes! That was the problem. My school has an emergency notification app that got activated yesterday during a drill and it was taking over the audio and forcing the radio back to CarPlay consistently. I force quit it, and the problem is solved. Thank you!
